Nothing I say will do justice to my experience and feelings at Hayulima – I came to this retreat on a friend’s recommendation and was totally led by my gut in trusting him and the universe that it was guiding me to where I needed to be. Having worked with the plant medicines a few times before, I knew what I was signing up for, but the journeys I had here were way beyond anything I had ever experienced before. They were beautiful, powerful and incredibly heart opening + healing. Salvador, Amalya, Fernanda, Diana & Mattias are all such powerful space holders and I felt so safe and loved being guided by them every step along the way. They do their work seriously and lovingly and you feel the depth of their dedication and wisdom when you watch them work alongside you. I’ve never felt so seen and held for all that I have been dealing with and their compassion + wisdom helped me make the most of all my journeys.

Watching Salvador give his undivided time and attention to every single person at the Kambo ceremonies was probably one of my favourite things – he never rushed the process and waited patiently for each one of us to get the most out of it. They were all also always available to talk through any challenges or questions that we had. Right from Temezcal, to Kambo, to San Pedro and Aya… every single ceremony was powerful, beautiful and unique. And all of this was wonderfully complemented by their beautiful music, nourishing food and the gorgeous setting of the retreat centre. I’ve come out of this experience with a full heart knowing that I fully received what I needed. Highly recommend it to anyone on the path and feeling called to work with the medicines. You’ll be in good hands and looked after really well.
