I just returned for a 2nd time to Dreamglade for a week. My first time being just under a year ago. Obviously as a returning guest, I liked it the first time around. It’s a beautiful setting in the jungle with no distractions. The focus here is on the medicine & healing. They do a wonderful job of explaining how things work & just how sacred these plants are. The owners Wade & Clarissa are doing a fantastic job. They remain available throughout your retreat & even after, checking in & making sure you’re doing well. Raul & Lidia are amazing dedicated Curanderos, you can feel & sense their power & love through their work. The 2nd time I went, Raul was away which did worry me some, however they had his brother Americo filling in who was amazing in his own right. The first time I was there I enjoyed the staff, & this time some people had changed as I’m sure happens at these places. It’s not the easiest work living in the jungle helping people through their journey. The new facilitators Mare & Max were both wonderful, caring people who fit in well there. I have nothing but good things to say about this amazing place & the people who run it. I’ve managed to get what I needed each time I’ve gone. My next return may not be as soon , but I would not hesitate to return should I get the call.

I spent 2 weeks at Dreamglade for a total of 6 aya ceremonies. I had heard of this place in the middle of the jungle from a friend, and after I spent 1 week at a plushy aya retreat I knew I wanted to go to Dreamglade. I wanted to go deep, do the work, and get down to nitty gritty core issues that have been holding me back. I suffered from lots of abuse, drug and alcohol addiction and low self worth and I was ready to heal. This place isn’t for the faint of heart, and it wasn’t easy, and that’s why I would recommend Dreamglade to anyone that is ready to overcome the challenges that have been preventing fulfillment of life. There is no electricity except for a generator to plug into twice a day and solar power in the main house, no WiFi and limited cell reception, compost toilets in the private tambos, and 3 shared toilets and showers. It’s uncomfortable, but you are free from the distractions that separate you from You, and you’re forced to connect with nature and your thoughts and feelings. You get breakfast and lunch on the ceremony days and dinner also on the off days, and you get big, whole plates of food and it’s amazing.
During the ceremonies the medicine was strong enough for me to go deep and become aquinted with the parts of me I’ve been avoiding.

Wade and Clarissa, the owners, and Max and Mair, the facilitators, create an environment where you are able to and required to walk your own path, while offering gentle support when needed. Lydia and Americo were the Shamans, preset and singing their icaros for the entirety of each ceremony and each person receives their own cleansing session during each ceremony, and will read your energy and pull you aside privately to help you receive the medicine if need be. Paul lovingly challenged me and is always available to help prepare for the retreat and after for integration support.
Overall being at Dreamglade was like having an abcess cut open and cleaned out. Lydia in particular is not afraid to get down in there with a figurative scrub brush and make sure that every bit of the infection is cleaned out. It’s an incredibly painful and uncomfortable experience but I’d rather have them make sure my wounds were clean than leave dirt and grime to fester because I didn’t like how it felt for a short period of time.

Integration and my healing journey has continued and will continue long after leaving Dreamglade. The entire staff, including the cleaning and cooking staff, are incredible people who all want fulfillment and growth for every visitor and I will forever appreciate every single one of them.

Wade, clarissa, max, and mair are awesome. They provide a very including and accepting safe environment that provides a safe space for healing. The post ceremony process groups held the day after ceremonies create a close bond with the group where you feel safe to share things you wouldn’t otherwise be able to and be vulnerable. The shamans are extremely experienced, and combined with the facility you get an authentic ceremony in the jungle the way ayahuasca should be done. I couldn’t recommend it enough. Will return in future.

1st Some might have Good Experience Some might have Bad. But that’s what’s it about in my opinion. Evolving. The location is amazing remote Jungle Vibes loved it. Staff super cool and knowledgeable. Wade and Clarisa are amazing people. They really care and want to help people. Is what I got from them. They are new to this. But only seeing it getting better as They go. Were all my ceremonies good? No, but sometimes you got to go through the Bad to get to the Good. Great Experience will Definitely be back. Thanks you 2. I feel you made me a better person just by meeting you.
    Much Love

Dreamglade was the best decision of my entire life. I’ve always wanted to try Ayahuasca. For years I have been intrigued by the idea of healing through the use of this magical and mystical brew. However, I did not have the time, money, courage or knowledge of what place to choose. I spent months researching which retreat to choose. Once I landed upon Dreamglade’s page, something resonated with me that prompted me to decide upon this place.

The facility is deep in the jungle, away from civilization. It is an adventurous and fun bumpy ride into the jungle from Iquitos. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, as there are various trees, bugs, birds, monkeys, and all other species you can imagine surrounding this pristine palace of healing. The weather ranges from rainy to sunny, and it is beautiful no matter what weather you’ll encounter during your stay.

Raul and Lydia have 40+ years of shamanism, which is incredibly impressive. The importance of finding legitimate shamans that have this level of experience cannot be understated. Their ability to see what each person is struggling with is mind blowing. They take their job as shamans very seriously and will help any individual out with the healing they require and deserve. Their icaros are intense and while under the influence of the medicine, can feel like a roller coaster of emotional turmoil that one needs to purge out past negative experiences.

Wade and Clarissa are both beautiful souls that have kindness flowing through their interactions with guests, staff and the shamans. They treat the place with the most respect possible and have helped to create the most beneficial experience for all guests. I am impressed and proud of the work they have undertaken as owners of the retreat and cannot thank them enough.

Mair and Max are wonderful facilitators. Mair taught me some very amazing yoga poses, while Max has some very keen insights to help you understand the nature of the medicine better and your experiences with it.

All of the workers have wonderful smiles and work hard to provide food and great accommodation.

The dogs and cats are amazing to help support you as comfort and therapeutic animals that remind you of your pets from back home. I loved all my hugs, kisses and interactions with them.

The kambo is administered responsibly and was a nice cleansing experience. I enjoyed the food, sauna and beautiful pond to swim in.

The way the share circles are set up and small group size has allowed the guests to interact and create life long bonds.

I truly believe this is the retreat for you if you are reading this and I have no regrets from attending this as my first experience with ayahuasca. I will forever hold the memories, people and location in my heart and soul for the rest of my life. Thank you all! – Kenta

Had an amazing experience at Dreamglade. Wade, Clarissa, Max, Max, the shamans and the whole staff was beyond expectations. It felt like 10 years worth of therapy wrapped into one week and I felt like I learned so much about myself that can help me live a better and more fulfilling life. The other guests were also extremely kind and respectful. 10/10

My husband and I were in dreamglade together. We deliberately opted for a more adventurous retreat. That really means in the jungle and without much luxury. Because it’s about healing, detoxing and finding yourself again.Where better to do that than in the jungle, in a tambo without electricity, without cell phones and without disruptive factors. We were not disappointed. We were picked up by Wade and Clarissa. We were warmly welcomed and the tension was gone. At the retreat we got to know everyone from the team and the other guests. It was great. It was warm.Wade gave us a welcome talk and took away the rest of my nervousness. The rest is just magic. We were able to get involved, we became new people. I have to thank Wade for standing up for me, for seeing the grief I was in after the second session. He spoke to the shaman for me and invited me to an individual session. I don’t know how to describe it, but I had been struggling with neck problems for 3 years. Raul and Wade managed to take that away from me. I can’t explain it, I studied conventional medicine, I know everything about anatomy. But the fact is, it’s gone. Not only my neck pain but also my mental and heart pain. Everyone has to go through it alone, but it was very helpful to hear from others too. How they were doing, what they were going through and what moved them. I have to say that everyone is free to say what they want to say and whether they want to take part. My husband wanted to sit out once and it was respected.
We would like to thank Wade and Clarissa, Raul, Lydia, Max and Mara. Of course also to the rest of the team. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure the guests are comfortable. They put their hearts into it and you feel very well looked after. It was fun, we all laughed together and cried a lot. But it was the best and the best retreat we could have chosen. Small, authentic and in the jungle. What could be nicer than being woken up by singing birds or being put to sleep by frogs? We flew halfway around the world, traveled there for 24 hours and came away with so much strength and love. And each of them has contributed to this. Wade and Clarissa put so much love and energy into this retreat. They don’t deserve any unnecessary comment. You know in advance what you are getting into. Everything is lovingly designed, there is plenty to eat and yes, there is nature. With beautiful walks, including those to Tambo or Maloka and then look up at the sky at night, the stars there will blow you away with their beauty. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and wouldn’t change a thing. You are doing everything right and the right souls will also find this retreat remains healthy and full of love

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Dreamglade and appreciate the incredible support provided by the power couple, Wade and Clarissa. As a small business owner myself, I understand the effort required to create such an experience. Raul and Lydia also contribute significantly, and all the workers, including Mar and Max, are not only kind and courteous but also well-informed.

Despite a few negative reviews, I believe they don’t reflect the true essence of Dreamglade. The Amazon jungle setting and the retreat itself offer precisely what modern individuals need to humble themselves. I never felt uncomfortable, and the balance provided by Dreamglade was remarkable.

I was educated about every aspect of the experience, and all my questions were answered, with Wade being my go-to person. I appreciate the authenticity of the entire journey; it felt genuine, not artificial. Going in with no expectations for my first experience with Momma Aya, I was pleasantly surprised.

Being high maintenance, I checked that attitude at the door out of respect for small business owners and their hard work. Despite initial reservations about reviews, this turned out to be an authentic and fulfilling experience. It challenged me to see my strength and taught me that minimalism is often all one needs to survive.

I’m proud of myself and grateful for the wonderful people I met during this journey. Despite Momma Aya’s quirks, which added character to the experience, my only wish was for her to allow pizza during the stay. Overall, I didn’t sense anything off, and everyone I encountered was awesome!

    Aya advisors

There are no words to describe Dreamglade, its owners, the shamans, the facilitators, and the workers. A place of love and a place where the depth of humanness meets the depth of the spiritual. A place of calm, deep rest, and peace like no other. Dreamglade is a home-like feeling despite being in the jungle, around people you’ve never met, and doing deep medicine and soul work in an unfamiliar setting.

You may read two reviews below that speak quite forcibly in the opposite experience. And while I respect their views, I feel it important to state that the words they choose to describe are heavily weighted and should not be used lightly. But it is not my space to negate their experience and so I respect their voice and opinion. However I feel it’s pertinent to share and provide and alternate experience, my experience.

I spent 3.5 weeks at dreamglade and never once did I feel anything other than love and support. Wade and Clarissa, the facilitators, and the shamans were there to help. And they profoundly did just that. I experienced consistent, gentle, and caring support in the form of deep compassion and presence. Especially from Wade. As a facilitator he is someone who sees things you may not see clearly yourself in the moment and I believe it’s in the space of a facilitator to recognize and offer intuitive guidance that may aid your growth and experience working with the medicine. And ultimately any and all reflections or guidance he provided was always offered with the utmost care and consideration. Whether it resonated or not was for my inner self and soul, and all other individual guests’, to take responsibility for identifying what is true to them and their experience. Ultimately, any resistance or reaction to guidance is often the exact guidance needed in order to dive deeper into self, intuition, and soul. Which was the case for me as well. But most often, when guidance or reflection was offered (which wasn’t all the time), it was right on the money of what I needed to hear or see reflected to me by another. Wade and Clarissa were incredibly attentive with this and had a very good sense of when and when not reflection or guidance was needed or warranted. Again, I want to repeat, this space was always shared with love, respect, and safety. I felt safe to share, safe to be open, safe to be vulnerable and safe to be me.

The shamans were absolutely magical. There are no words to describe the power Lydia and Raul had in that space. And just how beautiful the dynamic is in the Malloca during ceremony. They are truly gifted souls and i could not imagine feeling and safer or more protected than I felt with these two curanderos! They are true healers.

The two other facilitators (special shout out to mair and max) were absolutely amazing! They do so much during and after ceremony that you may not even notice if only there for a short time! They are truly magic workers and a freaking amazingly well-oiled machine! Not to mention the love and guidance they offer at anytime during your stay if you need some support. Also their yoga (gentle yin) and breathwork sessions were incredibly powerful in addition to working with aya! Can’t speak highly enough!

The ayahuasca ceremony time and experience was also incredible… really valued the way they have organized ceremony night. An intentional hour of silence before ceremony lit by flame was truly a powerful part of preparation for each nights journey. The ayahuasca itself was as good tasting as I think it could have been and was highly effective in experiencing aya.

The tambos are beautiful! the pictures on the website does not do this place justice but I can see that’s for a reason! My tambo was comfortable and well maintained. They are perfectly organized and placed too where you feel isolated and yet communal 🙂

The pond was such a bonus for me! I loved being able to cool off on a hot day with a little dip! Again I swam in it for 3.5 weeks and I was safe and healthy the whole time! For those needing a little more comfort like a pool or whatnot, then this may not be the place for you.

Not to mention the luxury of the sauna! let me tel you, you may be thinking, why would I need a sauna in the jungle… well you do. It’s amazing and such a lovely pre-ceremony cleanse!

Dreamglade is not a 5 star resort if that’s what you are looking for than this is not the place for you. But if you are a down to earth soul who appreciates home like comfort, relaxation, and tranquility, then this is the place for you! It is one of the most beautiful, quiet (jungle quiet), calm, and peaceful places I have ever been. I had originally only booked 2 weeks but extended my stay because of how much deep rest I was offered and felt on this land!

The dietas are beautiful and worth working with when you are there. And the food, for being on dieta, was filling (huge portions) and as tasty as can be while on dieta! When off dieta, the food was amazing 🙂

I came to dreamglade for a variety of reasons, but the selling point for me was the reviews. The reviews felt warm, down to earth, easy going, and just welcoming. And that is exactly what was experienced. Truly Good people come to this place and I can attest to this because I met every single person who came to the retreat over the month and they were all incredibly beautiful, loving, and open souls.

Lastly, Dreamglade’s price is incredibly well priced for the quality and amount of healing received. Not to mention all the other things. This place is a hidden gem especially for the costs!

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and experience, but I personally loved every part of my dreamglade experience and will gladly go back if/when I need to work with aya again!

Thank you Wade, Clarissa, Lydia, Raul, mair, max, Paul, and all the cleaning/maintenance staff for everything that you do. It’s such a gift what you are offering to people and I’m so honoured I was able to be a part of such a soul led experience.

Thank you, from the depths of my heart.

I also had a mixed experience and after reading the review ‘Shadowself’ left, I feel obligated to speak up. I align with the review ‘Shadowself’ left and had such similar experiences I almost couldn’t believe I didn’t leave the review myself.

Everything about this place is scared. The shamans are gifts to the world. The Ayahuasca, the land and the healing that can be done here is incredible… But I was also a victim of the owners abuse and I watched others get abused by him as well. It’s emotional to speak about and so I’d simply like to say Amen to ‘Shadowself’. You are speaking for me as well.
