The experience of lighthouse was amazing, I could feel the staff’s services come from bottom of their hearts, no two minds but only one. Very impressed. Above all, my mission accomplished!! Mama Aya answered me in meeting my shadow and light in 2nd ceremony.

I could say so much but actually everything‘s already said in all the beautiful reviews before and I can just confirm 100% what all the people are saying about Lighthouse. I‘ve never been to such a peaceful place and have never experiencing so much love in my life before. What the whole Lighthouse family is creating and offering there is above and beyond you could ever imagine. They‘re giving all of their heart to the place and their work and you’ll feel like part of this family right from the start. If you‘re considering doing Ayahuasca in Peru please do yourself a favour and choose Lighthouse. I can’t imagine a better place. I just finished my 3 week retreat with them and I‘m already pretty sad to left the jungle behind. I‘ll be back for sure and can’t wait to meet the guys again. It literally feels like a soul family far away from home. I‘m in deepest gratitude for my experience there. Also for me it was life changing and I‘m happy to found a place where I can always return to to remember how beautiful life is ♥️ gracias gracias gracias from the bottom of my heart!

Really incredible! Thanks Christian, Lady, Joy and all the others! The Intake As I believe going to a retreat for a week to be part of an ayahuasca ceremony is not a decision you make on a whim. And with the personal , quite vulnerable nature of the entire process, I found it reassuring the have an almost hour long talk beforehand to get to know the people behind the organization and the reasons for wanting to be part of the ceremony. Information After the intake a lot of information was shared to prepare for the ceremony beforehand. From meditation to dieting requirements. The crew They couldn’t have been more welcoming, loving and supportive. They were simply great! A big part of the very positive experience! Ceremony The ceremonies were taken very seriously, setting the right supportive atmosphere, the importance of it, the maloka where it took place and the maestras who guided the ceremony with their íkaros; very special. And one - I believe - very (!) important aspect: group size. They are limited to 8 participants, which some organizations don’t do. I don’t want to imagine a group of 16 participants, no way! Mama Aya The ayahuasca root en the chacruna leaves. Just wow (!) what an experience, you can - and they have - write books about it. But…: you just have to experience it! But don’t take it lightly, it is intens, beautiful but intens. Down to basics The facilities were basic, decent and I liked that. It suited the ceremonies. It’s just you, the Amazon and the reason you’re there. (Okay there was also wifi ;-)) Good food and juices within the dietary restrictions Getting your food to taste good without salt is harder than you imagine. But as with anything, you get used to it. It makes you feel better as well. The different fruit juices and creativity in the dishes made it quite good really. (The first dish with salt and all the forbidden elements after the retreat was indescribable!)

This Lodestar, this Pharos namesake, this Beaming Amazonian Guidepost of spiritual edification and revelations aligning one to zero point... "Lighthouse!"; definitely lived up to it's name. The lights are on and somebody's home... you're home...your home away from home during the duration of your stay. You're going to be taken care of and be in good hands. Before even arriving Ivan was on the job getting me ready and prepared for the experience, answering any and all questions, making himself available through texts, emails, and video calls. Thank you Ivan! The Lighthouse Team did excellent work facilitating transfer from the airport to the retreat destination. Upon arrival, like I said, it feels like home. Structurally built to safely cradle all guests, while still remaining open enough to feel immersed within the Amazon wilderness. I truly miss this place: the environment, the atmosphere, the vibe, the energy, the delicious all natural, healthy, balanced meals, fresh squeezed juices, friendly cats and dogs who also call this place home, and of course the vital spark that ties it all together, the wonderful staff of people. Jino, Christian, Maestro Antenor, Lady Di, Joy, Yoko, Lenin--words can't begin the describe my depth of gratitude and appreciation towards these outstanding humans. The world truly needs more humans like these! The Lighthouse staff has figured out a formula that works by catering to a humble assembly of humans at a time, making each individual feel recognized, acknowledged, accepted, and attended to; truly impressive! Fresh fruits and teas are always available to assemble how you'd like and reading material is also available and I do recommend not to shy away from it...the information is truly enriching! The excursions are fantastic and memorable, keeping my mind in the right place of being connected to nature and Mama Aya. As for the pièce de résistance, the ceremonies...Mama Aya has something in store for each of us and each individual's encounter is different and unique. Words do no justice here...it's just something you have to experience...and trust! you will not regret it. During the ceremonies Maestro Antenor made me feel at ease and comfortable...it's like you know you're in more than capable hands. The staff are also present during ceremonies and available for much needed support, and if you're lucky, may also synchronize with the Maestro's icaros and the occasional guitar may come into play. The Maestro's icaros are like supernatural songs, tuning the chakral notes of your spiritual body, until finally resonating in harmony with Mama Aya. After each ceremony personal time is set aside between you and the Maestro and this allowed for deeper clarity and insight. Truly fulfilling! In its entirety, I must say, the Lighthouse Ayahuasca Retreat is incredible and incomparable! After it was all said and done it's like I was reborn through Mama Aya. If you're searching for an Ayahuasca retreat, look no further, because this is it! You'll be thankful you chose "Lighthouse! Ayahuasca Retreat "!

There truly are no words to express just how special Lighthouse is. Where to even begin. The team emanate kindness and love and make you feel part of the family from the minute you arrive. I was incredibly nervous about embarking on this experience but the minute I arrived I felt in such safe, nurturing, kind, knowledgeable hands. They care deeply about each and every person and their healing journey and nothing is too much trouble. The shaman was incredible with such a strong connection with the medicine having learnt from his famous shaman father from a young age, his Icaros were beautiful and it was amazing to be able to speak with him after every ceremony to decode the experience. The schedule is perfectly curated with rest days in between ceremonies. The food is delicious and fresh and served in the beautiful dining room overlooking the Amazon river. You feel like you are in a treetop jungle paradise at lighthouse, the accommodations are lovely and everything you need and the land is so well kept. I loved the hikes into the jungle to learn about the different trees, plant life and wildlife. What I particularly loved is that the Maestro incorporates extracts from some of the master healer trees that are known for their protective energies into the medicine. Seeing the Aya vine just a short walk from the lodge was amazing. The medicine gave me everything I hoped for and more, so much healing and so much clarity. I chose Lighthouse because the groups are maximum of 8 and with this you get so much 1:1 time with the team and are cared for so well during the ceremony. I will be forever grateful to the Lighthouse family (including the friendliest dogs and cats you could ever meet), my wonderful group who now feel like family and Mama Aya for all they have given me, without a doubt the best week of my life and I am so glad I chose Lighthouse. If you are considering Lighthouse I promise you will not regret it, it will be the greatest gift to you will ever give yourself! I look forward to returning again one day to this very special place in the jungle.

Hello my Lighthouse family and everyone who reads this

I support all the nice and loving things that are written here from the bottom of my heart. I have never experienced a place filled with so much love, support, help and trust. Reading all these reviews was one of the reasons why I chose Lighthouse, the other reason was that I felt in my body from the first moment that this place was right for me. I had been thinking about the medicine for 6 years, reading about it and watching many documentaries. It was a bit silly to do too much research because it gave me fears and expectations, not everything is quite right. Before I came to Lighthouse, I was full of fear and trust issues. I couldn’t quite believe all the reviews. Joshua was the first person I had contact with. He shared so openly and honestly from his own life, experiences and stood up from the start. I couldn’t believe that he was real, but now I have full confidence in his gentle love and guidance.

The next step was the diet. I started working on it almost 2 months before. I am so happy, proud and grateful to myself for taking the diet seriously. The discipline and confidence I gained in myself through controlling what I put into myself was worth its weight in gold during my retreat.

Everything was thought of from the start. From being picked up at the airport to how the retreat is set up and every aspect of the people who are there, including yourself. I felt great joy that a place like this existed. The ceremonies were of course the deepest highlights with Maestro Jairo’s gentle loving being. I got the feeling that he was so connencted to us that he constantly understood what we were going through. Then it was Lady and Joy who followed us up closely during our stay. We ended up calling them mum and dad or sister and brother. They did an amazing job looking after us, supporting us and cheering us on. Always available. Then it was everyone who participated in the retreat who had a great influence on me, I can safely say that I have made friends for life. You can just relax and think about yourself, everything else is taken care of. Unfortunately, I don’t know the names of everyone who works there, but everyone was welcoming, nice and gave full service to make sure I had a good time. From food to washing rooms and clothes to sweeping daily. I am deeply deeply grateful to everyone at Lighthouse, you are the reason why I got to experience this which has given my life a new spark and meaning.

I am a nature lover, so the jungle and the animals were a big big part of my healing. All the animal sounds give you constantly a free effect of sound healing. When you put all these pieces together, I have my recipe for deep understanding and healing of myself and others.

I had intended to only be there 1 week, but Joshua took a chance and recommended me 2 weeks. At the end of my 2nd week I wished I had chosen 3 weeks. If I have to make a recommendation for after your stay, it is to be able to have a peaceful place to rest, preferably in or close to nature, with someone available to support you. The integration afterwards was perhaps what surprised me the most. I was well supported by Joshua and the others who had been at Lighthouse with me.

It is difficult to describe in words my experience, feelings, love and gratitude. It has to be experienced. I was looking for something that could shake me deep in the soul, I found it! It was intense and hard work, you meet yourself at the doors, but I have never felt so strong and powerful or experienced something so beautiful and deep love. I had a strained relationship with God before I left, now I can confidently say that I know that God is in everything and everyone. I can highly recommend Lighthouse! If I’m lucky, maybe I’ll get to meet you, because I fell so in love with the place, the animals and the people that I’ve booked a one-way ticket back to be a volunteer ❤️‍ One of my most important choices in life. I am overjoyed and super excited. I cannot express enough how moved and how much gratitude and love I am left with after Lighthouse, the jungle and the animals. If you’re thinking about drinking the medicine, come to the Lighthouse. If you are unsure and feel afraid, make a video call first. One step at a time. Lighthouse believes in you and got you from the start. Thank you very much! I love you, us, the jungle and the animals. Your roots spread out to the whole world. You are making beautiful light warrior’s

    Muchas muchas gracias❤️‍

Our experience with Lighthouse and, of course the staff, Jino, Lady and Joy was nothing short of life-changing. As first-timers coming into an ayahuasca journey, we carried a mixture of curiosity, nervousness, vulnerability, and, in my case, hope for deep connection. From the very beginning, they created an environment where we felt deeply safe, supported, and genuinely cared for.

What stood out most was the level of intention and heart they brought to every part of the experience. This wasn’t simply a retreat or ceremony. it felt like being lovingly guided through one of the most sacred and transformative experiences of our lives. Lady and Joy hold space with such authenticity, wisdom, gentleness, and strength. You can feel immediately that this work is not transactional to them; it is deeply spiritual, deeply human, and rooted in service. They are amazing caregivers.

Since it was my first time taking the medicine, we had many questions.. Josh and his team proactively engaged and met every question with patience and compassion, never making us feel rushed or judged. The preparation beforehand, the attention during ceremony, and the care afterward helped us surrender into the experience with trust. That trust became everything, at least for me. I felt safe to release, connect and experience.

The ceremonies themselves were incredibly powerful. I particularly loved Maestro Huber. He was gentle, kind and his covering was beautiful, especially his beautiful and personal Icaros. There were moments of emotional release, moments of clarity, moments of beauty, and moments where we felt completely held even while moving through difficult inner processing. I knew from my research that Ayahuasca has a way of bringing forward exactly what needs to be seen, and having facilitators like Lady and Joy beside us made all the difference. Their presence felt grounding, nurturing, and deeply intuitive.

What we appreciated most was how personal the experience felt. We never felt like “participants”. We felt seen as human beings. Every detail, from the atmosphere they created to the energy they carried, reflected sincerity and love. It’s rare to encounter people who can make you feel both spiritually guided and emotionally safe at the same time, but they do exactly that.

…and the food… wow… was like a 5-star presented healthy vegetarian meal prepared with uptmost care every meal, except when choosing to fast, lol.

Also, not one retakes went overlooked. Lady and Joy made sure we had EVERYTHING we asked for.

Since returning home, we continue to feel the impact of the experience in beautiful ways:

If you are considering working with ayahuasca for the first time and are searching for facilitators you can trust wholeheartedly, we cannot recommend Joshua and his team enough. They are extraordinary humans doing deeply meaningful work, and we will carry this experience with us for the rest of our lives.

With immense gratitude, love, and respect… thank you, Joshua, Lady, Joy, Maestro Huber and the entire Lighthouse team for helping guide us through such an amazing journey.

    A very safe place!
This has been my very first time with mother Ayahuasca so I looked for a safe and professional environment to get to know her. I looked at 3 retreats but this one stood out the most (website, reviews) There is no way of knowing if your decision is the right one. I felt the same but here you won’t be disappointed! Because I wasn’t. The staff is professional, caring, highly empathetic and even the owner is personally involved. He joins the ceremony’s from time to time and is making sure that you feel good. That speaks for itself ! The rooms are big and tidy, equipped with a fan (sufficient!). The area itself is beautiful. Lady and Joy will be your Angels during the ceremony and will assist you if you have a hard time. No need to worry! Just be prepared to lose weight because you will be on a special diet. After my two weeks I needed 1 week to regain strength but that is just my individual story. All in all this retreat is a 10/10 if you‘re looking for an international, save, and professional option.

The thing I loved most about Lighthouse is the attention to detail and care of the staff. You can tell that a lot of thought and love went into planning the experience to go as smoothly and safely as possible. This is important as it is held in a remote jungle location but I felt comfortable and attended to throughout the week-long retreat.

It was an absolutely life-changing experience. Not in the sense that it’s solved all my problems immediately, but it planted a seed that I now know how to water and care for that can grow into something special. We took field trips into the jungle to explore the animals and wildlife, and also got the opportunity to visit remote Peruvian villages. It was all deeply moving.

The staff and the owner were all incredible. The shaman Huber and his helpers Joy and Lady, especially. I felt very safe and connected through the entire process.

Ayahuasca is very challenging, but at the same time incredibly rewarding. If you’re thinking about doing it, don’t hesitate it’s definitely worth it!
