Agape Church for Soul Mind & Body is a non-profit church focused on liberating individuals to be confident in their life experience and spiritual practice through deep connection with the divine, mindfulness practices and self discovery. Agape Church aims to remove the labels associated with religious, political and geographical affiliation and allow people to just be themselves within a supportive, non-judgmental and like-minded community.
Agape Church applies the lessons of many spiritual guides & teachers within a ceremonial context for our congregation with an understanding that there is much to learn with an open-minded approach to all spiritual practices, wisdom and knowledge. Agape Church aims to normalize the reverent use of entheogenic sacraments, removing the stigmas associated with master plant & animal teachers in order to allow a deeper connection with our own humanity, nature, spirituality and higher self. Agape Church uses these sacred tools to connect with the divine, become conscious of our human & spiritual experience, and our individual role for the greater good of ourselves, our families and all our relations.

January 16, 2024 at 1:26 amAgape changed my life. I’ve been part of communities and have been looking for a place that truly accepts people and maintains the health and integrity of the community which is a difficult task for many organizations. Agape does an outstanding job at doing so, and really do love up to their values. I’m so grateful to have found this community, its authentic, sincere, powerful and loving.

January 15, 2024 at 5:30 pmI have had the blessing of the healing power of the sacred teacher plants (predominately Ayahuasca) since 2019. Agape Church for the Soul, Mind and Body unequivocally stands out for its personal attention to their participants; adherence to the sanctity and reverence of the sacraments; small, intimate ceremonies; beauty of their Retreat Center; diversity of guest facilitators; an amazing support staff and volunteer corps; and their remarkably affordable price-point. Additionally, they provide select specialized retreats for men, women, Veterans and First Responders or private ceremonies for those who choose not to participate in an open ceremony. Sergio and Rakel have created a remarkable environment for healing and spiritual illumination. I highly recommend this retreat above all others and a “must” for your first experience with the sacred plants.

January 15, 2024 at 2:30 pmAgape is close to my heart. I have been within this community for about a year and a half. Within this sacred journey, the divine lessons felt at a fundamental level have been trust, forgiveness, acceptance, love, being supported, and to support. Connecting to our higher selves and sharing awareness is such a personal and intimate process so I’m grateful Agape has provided their life purpose to this with care. Aside from Ayahuasca, I have sat with Bufo, Kambo, and San Pedro at this facility. All these spaces are held with the highest respect and esteem for the medicine.
The accommodations and amenities are probably at the higher end of the spectrum. There are cabins for lodging, acreage to mindfully explore, dining areas, and ceremony spaces. All meals and resources are provided throughout the retreat at the appropriate times.
Integration sessions are also held throughout and after the retreat to allow for sharing and feedback. Sitting through meaningful experiences will open feelings and energy centers so the support to be heard and felt is a part of the process. All is welcome.
Lastly, the community that is naturally being aligned is one of the more valuable gifts within this space. There are connections and friendships I will support for life.

December 4, 2023 at 1:54 pmI attended a 3 day retreat Nov 24 – 26 with Misk’i Takiy. I loved that it was a small group – only 14 – but with 4-6 facilitators/helpers in the plant medicine (ayahuasca) ceremonies. There is a schedule of activities but timelines were adjusted a bit throughout the weekend – this didn’t bother me though since you are on site the whole time. The actual ceremonies with Misk’i were amazing – the music, the very respectful handling of the medicine and all ceremonial aspects. The final day was a San Pedro ceremony – quite long but well conducted and again, Misk’i is a phenomenal teacher and guide – funny, wise, profound. It is a very relaxed atmosphere, and it would be nice to see more interaction between facilitators / attendees outside the actual ceremony, and clearer updates on schedule. I would personally also love a Facebook group or something for post-ceremony discussions and “integration”. I had a positive experience, though, and am already planning a second trip back.
