Agape Church for Soul Mind & Body is a non-profit church focused on liberating individuals to be confident in their life experience and spiritual practice through deep connection with the divine, mindfulness practices and self discovery. Agape Church aims to remove the labels associated with religious, political and geographical affiliation and allow people to just be themselves within a supportive, non-judgmental and like-minded community.
Agape Church applies the lessons of many spiritual guides & teachers within a ceremonial context for our congregation with an understanding that there is much to learn with an open-minded approach to all spiritual practices, wisdom and knowledge. Agape Church aims to normalize the reverent use of entheogenic sacraments, removing the stigmas associated with master plant & animal teachers in order to allow a deeper connection with our own humanity, nature, spirituality and higher self. Agape Church uses these sacred tools to connect with the divine, become conscious of our human & spiritual experience, and our individual role for the greater good of ourselves, our families and all our relations.

July 16, 2025 at 8:04 pmI’ve attended multiple retreats at Agape Church for ayahuasca ceremonies, and each experience has been truly transformational. I’ve participated in both general groups and specialized circles for veterans and first responders, and every time I’ve been met with genuine kindness and care. The volunteers and organizers create a space that feels safe, welcoming, and deeply supportive. From the first time I attended, I felt like part of a community.
These retreats have become an essential part of my healing journey, alongside therapy and significant life changes. The work isn’t easy, but Agape has been there supporting me as I’ve done it. This place has helped me move through trauma in ways I never thought possible.
The grounds are beautiful—trees, water, and a peaceful atmosphere that immediately helps you settle. The facilities are simple but comfortable, exactly what’s needed for the work being done. Getting there is easy from Houston airports; I usually rent a car (which allows me to grab water and snacks), but rideshares work too.
I’ve recommended Agape to close friends and family. If you’re serious about your healing, I can’t recommend it enough.

August 26, 2024 at 3:10 pmAgape is a place I trust and I know that they hold these traditions in the highest honor. The process of intake and available aftercare is top notch and well thought out. The land and facilities are amazing, clean, and well kept, this not something frequently seen in the United States. Normally, you’d have to travel to South America to come across a facility and organization of this caliber.
I have had the privilege of sitting with them over the last 3 years several times with different facilitators. Each experience was carefully curated and highly organized, freeing me up to focus on the work that I need to do and not worry about anything else. They have different circles, experiences, and facilitators that can cater to very specific needs as well. Highly recommended.

July 24, 2024 at 4:04 pmHello everyone! I am Guillermo and like many a seeker of self-knowledge; I came to Agape a little over 3 years ago and if I continue here it is because I found my family, tribe and right place. I am very grateful to the Universe, God, creative Energy, the Being, Great spirit or whatever you want to call it for allowing me to be a member of Agape church; I feel blessed thanks to the medicines and with Sergio and Raquel who helped me a lot in my healing process; I know there is still a lot to heal but thanks to Ágape I was able to take a great quantum leap in my healing to be a better Human Being. I am sincerely pleased and proud to be part of Ágape. If you really want a healing process, safe and with trained people… This is the place! You come here to heal not to recreate! Aho!

February 13, 2024 at 1:59 pmI became a member of Ágape church two years ago, after spending much time looking for a trusted place to sit in ceremony. This community has truly become my family. They devote a significant amount of their time and energy to ensure everyone’s needs and well-being. The property is always well kept, all amenities are included, and the food is always deliciously prepared.
The profound healing experiences we have with plant medicines do not end with ceremony. How we integrate the insights that we’ve learned in these sacred spaces, the application of the tools and perspectives we receive will ultimately determine the transformation in our lives. Ágape makes sure to offer integration support within ceremony space as well as after ceremony has ended.
The humility, love, and respect they exhibit is truly remarkable. They conduct all ceremonies with utmost integrity and a deep reverence for these sacred ancestral medicines. Plant medicines have truly changed my life! They have given me the opportunity to become more humanized, to deepen my connection with creation and myself. I now volunteer and contribute my time whenever possible, as there is simply no other way I can express my gratitude.
