A small retreat center focused on individual healing plant medicine process in groups of no more than 10 participants at a time. We are located in the famous Sacred Valley of the Incas in a remote Andean village. Scheduling is by request. We offer 4, 6 and 11 Day Retreats, Kambo treatments and stays, all with the option to extend for more time resting or deeper cleansing. The retreat healings plants and therapies include Ayahuasca, Yopo, San Pedro, Kambo and Temazcal (Sweat Lodge).
Our purpose is to create a ripple effect in the consciousness of humanity through work with sacred plant medicines of Peru and healing techniques we have chosen, through our own positive experiences, and believe compliment the process of plant medicines. To bring about a new earth first we must help heal the traumas of the past.
We first must begin healing the individual in a gentle process. Each process is considered on an individual basis and what the healers feel would be best suited to the work they would like to accomplish. There is space to explore deeper and daily consultations after ceremony to begin to understand the messages of the plant medicine and have a focus for the next ceremony.
The longer the retreat, the deeper the healing. All of our programs are intensive, however there is space to take your time in the healing process through extending your retreat or opting to take less or no medicine. We guide participants only to where they feel comfortable or ready for. The ceremonies are practiced in a sacred context with Icaros (medicine songs) and sacred instruments. Each ceremony has assistants to help care for each person and anything they need.
During your time at the retreat you will have everything you need for a comfortable stay with all modern necessities. We provide everything, you need only to bring yourself and a few pairs of warmer clothes. In the Andes, we can experience all four seasons in one day, but tend to have cold nights and warm days. There are Incan ruins above the center and plenty of hiking trails around, so comfortable clothes and good shoes are a must.
With the power of the heart we are bringing every person into the healing power of the sacred medicinal plants of Peru through ceremony. We have ongoing local projects offering people in the nearby town healings and ceremonies.

July 27, 2018 at 12:15 pmI highly recommend Shamanic Vida to anyone looking for a retreat centre in Peru. The setting is perfectly located not far from Cusco city, nestled in the Sacred Valley and surrounded by beautiful mountain landscapes and a river. The accommodations are simple, but comfortable and everything you need is provided.
I did the 6-day retreat (plus Machu Picchu) and experienced the healing benefits of 3 Ayahuasca ceremonies, 1 Kambo, 1 San Pedro, Sweat lodge, Reiki, and yoga and meditation.
Pacco and Chrissy are kind and loving healers. I felt safe and had complete trust in their abilities with these powerful medicines. The schedule was intense but also felt well-paced and that there was lots of personal time to relax, reflect, and prepare for the next ceremony.
This was my first experience with these plant medicines and I went through all of the emotional and physical ups and downs, but at the end I felt strong, powerful and determined. And I didn’t want to leave! Shamanic Vida felt like home. I feel forever connected to Pacco and Chrissy and cannot wait to return one day to continue my personal healing journey.

This place instantly feels like home. For my first ayahuasca experience, I wanted to make sure I was going to be taken care. Shamanic Vida did not disappoint. Paco and Chrissy provide the perfect setting, accommodations, and guidance for you ceremonies. I would highly recommend Shamanic Vida for anyone wanting to try ayahuasca for their first time, or for the anyone who is familiar with the medicine. I can’t wait to go back.

June 23, 2018 at 3:31 amNot “Near-Perfect”. Just, perfect. Travelling to South America for the first time, and never having attended a retreat such as this before, my heart was full of trepidation in anticipation of where I was going and what I was doing. I felt strongly drawn to this retreat centre though, and to Pacco and Chrissy. And my instincts were right. I felt a great connection to both Chrissy and Pacco, and a great trust for them immediately, and this only grew as I was guided through my three Ayahuasca ceremonies. I feel that they both gave me everything that I needed at exactly the time I needed it, as did Mother Ayahuasca, and the other medicines, ceremonies and lessons that were integrated into the experience. I could not have felt more safe and cared for during my time there. I was with a brilliant group of beautiful people, the surrounding scenery is breath-taking, and the accommodation comfy and ideally suited to the experience. The food (once the fasts were broken) was amazing, and I felt like I was tasting things for the first time again. I feel much less fearful now, and more peaceful. I am continuing with a vegan diet, my taste buds refreshed, as are my other senses, I hope to continue living in this clearer, more focused mind, body and soul that was realised through the cleansing I experienced with Shamanic Vida. I really can not imagine using these plant medicines under the guidance of any other shaman, such is the trust, respect and love I feel for Pacco and Chrissy, and I know that I will return to continue my journey with them and with Mother Ayahuasca. Thank you Pachamama.

June 5, 2018 at 10:34 amHello everyone!
I recently returned from my 6 day stay at Shamanic Vida. I had never been to Peru before and I was very nervous once my plane landed. However as soon as I arrived to the center and met Chrissy and Paco all that went away. Their warm and loving energy just beamed out from them and made me feel instantly comfortable. The place is so cozy and has the most breath taking views. I took so many pictures but the pictures just can not capture the intense beautiful nature that surrounds the retreat center. There is a short walk to a town and an even shorter walk to a super cute restaurant with WiFi. The rooms were very clean and well kept, and the beds were fairly comfortable. I felt like I had the comforts of home and my own space during my stay. I never felt unsafe or uncared for at all while I was there.
Now let me tell you about the ceremonies. During my stay I participated in 2 Ayahuasca Ceremonies and 1 San Pedro Ceremony. The Ayahuasca ceremonies where not what I expected, they were so much more beautiful than expected. My 1st Aya ceremony there was mostly getting reacquainted with the medicine. However my 2nd ceremony was so incredibly transformative. It was quick and I actually got to see Paco’s magic at work. I was able to sit up and watch what an amazing Shaman he is. I was in awe! Everything that he does to prepare for an Icaro is like that of a Shaman who has been doing this for 50 years. Simply Amazing!! The SP ceremony was wonderful and beautiful. We went on a walk and sat by the nearby river and Paco played Guitar and Flute and we all just hung out and enjoyed each other company. It was the perfect addition to all the inner work that was happening during the Aya Ceremonies. After each ceremony we had an short (or long) meeting with Chrissy and Paco to integrate our experience. They would have spent an hour or more with each person if they needed it. The love and care they put into each person to help them with their experience is just beautiful!
My life has forever been changed by my stay at Shamanic Vida! I feel that I have made lifelong friendships with Paco and Chrissy and will definitely return to their center again some day (hopefully soon)! I will be recommending this center to anyone and everyone I come across that is interested in participating in Ceremonies in The Sacred Valley of Cusco!
