Celebrating Summer Solstice Retreat

June 19th-22nd

*Throughout human history, the Solstice and Equinox times have been celebrated by many cultures and peoples around the world. This time is an opening of our world both physically and energetically. This portal provides to us a unique yet powerful opportunity for deep spiritual healing.*

Our next Integration Call will be offered on March 29th, at 7 PM. Here, we discuss Plant Medicine, spirituality, and personal development. Please message us for the link- all are welcome to come and join us!

Please e-mail us for more information.

Our mission is to provide a safe, honest and sincere space for people of all walks of life to come and heal. We believe in the combined power of plant medicine, community and emotional vulnerability. These key elements are the fertile soil for beautiful transformation to occur in our lives!

Maharani Medicine  first opened its doors in 2018– since then, we have served at over 110 retreats. We are proud to be a culturally diverse hub for seekers of all kinds. We are honored to be of service to anyone with a desire to grow, learn and heal regardless of background, age or creed.

Here are some things that set us apart from other groups:

  • Our groups are ALWAYS intimate & small. We will never serve a group larger than ten people. This fosters a sense of community between participants & staff, creating a safe, familial atmosphere.
  • We keep a supportive staff-to-participant ratio so we can all feel fully supported in this intense journey. We strive to have 3-4 facilitators on board in addition to our Medicine Woman. Our team members are humble volunteers with ample personal experience with plant medicine. Each facilitator brings their own unique abilities to retreats.
  • Our medicine is brewed “in house”, sourcing high quality materials from sustainable sources from Central America. We brew one jar at a time, prepped especially for each upcoming retreat.
  • We place a strong emphasis on Integration. Integration means applying the lessons learned during ceremony to everyday life. Integration is what separates recreational use of medicines from ceremonial & intentional use! It is very important we honor ourselves and our medicines in this way. We offer multiple integration circles during the weekend and also provide supportive resources for our participants when they go home.
  • Our Guides have been blessed with immense musical gifts that activate and amplify our Medicine. Most specifically, our participants often laud their technique at moving the energies as integral to their experience. Many Plant Medicine traditions suggest that music is the vessel which carries the ceremonial energy. The music harmonizes with the medicine and serves as a “Lighthouse” that helps each participant navigate their internal shadows & light alike. The music serves as a compass to bring us back our hearts. Whether it be the mysterious sound of the steel drum, the call of the flute or powerful icaros (medicine songs), we are confident these voices will sing you home.
  • We are officially non-profit & church. Spirituality is very important to us, but we will never be dogmatic in our beliefs. While our ceremonies are spiritually based, they are very universalist as well. Folks with secular beliefs will not have issues connecting to the ceremony experience.
  • Above all else, we strive to “keep it real”. It can feel extremely overwhelming to find the right practitioner, modality or healing space when we live in such a fast-paced world. We are happy to provide a simple, organic and humble space where you can just be yourself. We believe that everyone is a student in this space— we are all learning from one another at all times! We hope you will join us in this incredible opportunity to unravel & remember who we truly are.

Our Retreats are for you if…

  • You are looking for a retreat that is not overwhelming in size.
  • You are seeking a supportive community to connect with in the long-term– Whether it be for integration, friendship, spirituality or medicinal purposes!
  • You are unable to travel to South America or commit to a longer term retreat.
  • You are ready to commit to four weeks of Dieta- the physical and mental cleansing that prepares us for ceremony.
  • You feel a profound urge to become a better human, work on trauma, process challenging emotions, foster a deeper connection with Nature or expand your relationship with Spirit/Source/The Universe.

We are a “mobile ministry”. This means that we split our time between Upstate New York and the high desert of Arizona. We feel the call to be in service to both sides of this country. We also hope to someday soon travel to other states and offer our retreats in more locations.

In Arizona, we are hosted by community members on their properties. For our New York offerings, we have a beautiful property in the woods that we hold our retreats in. Because we host small retreats, we don’t have the need to have a large retreat center. This means that our accommodations are humble and communally shared.

For more information on our ceremonies and community visit us www.maharanimedicine.com

Please message us if you’d like more information about our retreats or upcoming schedule. We are always available to talk about this work if you have any questions. Thanks so much for reading and many blessings!

Vision Statement

Our vision is to become compassionate, pure, healthy, and unconditionally loving people. Through prayer, meditation and the foundational support of our ancestors and their medicines, we humbly walk this path.

In a world shrouded by illusion, our Medicine bursts through the shadows as a shining light. We call upon the guidance of our sacred plant teachers to shed hardened layers around our heart built by the suffering we have endured.

Through dance and song, we shatter resistance keeping us from a righteous and all pervading Spiritual Relationship with life. Our ancient Amazonian Medicine combined with communal celebration yields profound healing for our selves and the entire planet.

We strongly believe in the Great Spirit that dwells within all living beings. This Spirit is alive, deeply caring and calling us home to the Present Moment. We embrace all religions and creeds. All roads lead to the same One, loving and ever-present Being.

Our Mission is to provide a sacred container, as well as education and support for those who are called to Plant Medicine. Ceremony is a state of mind that can embraced every single moment of our lives. We seek to help others cultivate this way of being through integrating spiritual experience.

We also believe that human connection is a powerful gateway to the soul. Maharani Medicine offers a community space for all people to share and grow.

We honor ourselves by truly integrating our Plant Medicine journeys. In choosing to remember Love on the daily, we help the world heal. It is our prayer that we can support people, whether they are preparing for ceremony, sitting in ceremony or integrating afterward. We want every person we meet to thrive and find great internal success. We invite you to join us!

My experience with Maharani Medicine Circle was life changing in an extremely positive way! It was so positive for me that I also paid to have two of my daughters attend as well!
Below I will list several factors that made it an amazing experience for me.
One was the lead facilitator who used both her words and her music to keep the program on track and to make it the perfect environment for safety, reflection and healing. She is an amazing singer but also an incredibly talented leader so there was the perfect blend of external stimuli to encourage internal self-discovery.
Another factor was her selection and training of her co-facilitators. Each co-facilitator was a professional in every sense of the word. Their generosity and ability to validate us was only matched by their empathy and ability to guide us safely through our own journeys.
The size of the group was kept small on purpose and the ratio of facilitators to participants was perfect.
The plant medicine was of the highest quality with options that were offered and explained very clearly so that each person had an abundance of choice and control over their own experience.
Lastly, the environment was first-rate. Just right to encourage introspection and the location was enhanced by the natural surroundings.
I can’t say enough good things about the entire experience that this group is able to give to its attendees. I give my highest recommendations to Maharani Medicine Circle. Yes, each participant still has to do their own internal work, but Maharani Medicine Circle does the maximum possible to make sure that journey is productive and life-changing in the most positive way imaginable!

I was not a spiritual person until I sat in ceremony with Eliana, which honestly changed my life and my perception of the world. As this was my first time in ceremony, I was nervous going in, but Eliana and her sitters made me feel safe and held, especially during a couple particularly challenging moments. Because I felt safe, I was able to fully surrender to the experience. Eliana is a compassionate healer, holding space for all of us with kindness BUT also fun and humor! She is a beautiful singer, her voice helped bring me to the deepest parts of my soul during ceremony and I find myself listening to her music at home often (her song Surrender brings me to tears). Thank you, Eliana.

Sitting in Ceremony with Eliana is truly an honor. For the sake of how many words I could sit here and type out, I will try to keep this informative and precise. If you are looking for a space that is held with honor, safety and security, this is the space for you. If you are looking for a curandera who protects, guides, influences the medicine space with her icaros, instruments, and angelic voice, this space is for you. There was never a time I felt the space was chaotic, though there was a lot of internal struggle going on for me, the space, and the energy always felt protected, safe, and respected by all that participating. The integration circles after ceremony were encouraging, accepting, and helpful to my processing. Eliana and her support system of facilitators made their helpful presence known always. I highly recommend sitting with this very powerful plant medicine with Eliana, I believe her training has served her well in how she carries out the ceremony, how she is guided and carries out the format of the ceremony, respecting the medicine and those that carried this medicine long before her. She speaks and sings with gentleness, powerful authority, and love. I would desire for any and all people considering this medicine to consider sitting with Eliana.

Eliana and her staff create a safe and magical space. One of allowing the natural divinity of life and each human to unfold. Gentle yet accountable. Her voice is like an angel that penetrates deep into my bones and soul. So much healing. Surrender. Trust. Thank you for sharing your magic and medicine⭐️️

First I want to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart thank you for your sweet offering, for giving so deeply, for caring so much.

I’ve sat in a number of ceremonies and never have I felt so held and seen and loved as I did at the lighthouse. The space you created is a warm cocoon, a safe space to be nurtured and to blossom.

It’s been a couple months now and I’m still processing and integrating the deep healing that happened. Thank you for creating a space that is safe enough to do this work. Thank you for taking the time, your own time to connect and integrate after ceremony. Thank you for sharing your beautiful voice. You sing the medicine through us, guiding her to the places that need to be witnessed.

Watching you tend the space during ceremony was truly an honor. I learned so much by seeing you care for the space like a sacred mother. Thank you for keeping the group size small. Thank you for having helpers who were available and responsive and kind. Thank you for allowing us to process and grow but being truly present for the experience in every way. Eliana, you are the magic.
