Divina Abuela Ayahuasca is a new center in its first stages of development in Iquitos. We specialize in traditional shamanic training with Master Plant dietas and Ayahuasca ceremonies. The leader shaman Francisco is very talented, knowledgeable and experienced with some of the most advanced Master plants known to this area. He cumulates 30 years+ of practice. The last ten years, his only focus was on helping other shamans in Iquitos to heal and launch their own shamanic activities. Now, it is time for him to launch his own center as he is focused to train a new generation of Western shamans to bring their medicine to their own regions to help humanity find real healing.

His assistants and management facilitators, Macey & Benoit, have accumulated more than a 1250 ayahuasca ceremonies over the last 15 years, and have accumulated over 4 years of isolated traditional Master Plants dietas. We have learned the sacred icaros directly from plants and now want to share this knowledge, as it serves as a great tool to navigate through the world with. We have the knowledge to prepare Westerners for their shamanic path and facilitators for Ayahuasca ceremonies. We are really experienced, as this is the 4th ayahuasca center we have managed over a period of 15 years. After all this experience, we have decided to open a new place where those who really want to become a true practitioner can do so. Because we give all the tools, information and the space in ceremony to perform each individual sacred healing art.

Indeed, we also do offer healing retreats at our center, but preferably for people who have a previous experience in dietas with master plants or with Ayahuasca ceremonies and if not, at least are very motivated to sustain isolation in the jungle, condition themselves to connect properly in the purest form with the spiritual world. Each individual has their own energy and perceptions of the spiritual world but also their personal traumas, wounds and so on; each experience at our center is unique. Each healing process is personalized, and no two people will have the exact same healing treatment with master plants when they come.

At Divina Abuela Ayahuasca Center we have our own way of working which strictly respects the ancient traditional spiritual rules, we don’t drink during a dieta process, but before and/or after (One Ayahuasca ceremony a week while in a Master plant dieta – Too much Ayahuasca during plant dieta can bring confusion during the dieta). Processes are at the purest, and ceremonies very strong. Most individuals who will come to our place will leave it with the real hope that anybody can change beyond the imaginable. And furthermore, most of our participants will come to the understanding that anybody can learn to interact with higher spirits and become a true spiritual healer with the help of the plants. They shall find this as a realistic purpose for their life, coming to the understanding of what’s really important and sacred in life.

2 weeks, 5 Ayahuasca ceremonies, 2 Master Plant Steam Vapor Dietas

Vapor baths are a great advantage for beginners because a vapor steam bath mixes a large variety of plants in one sole dieta (about 12), including plants usually reserved for shamans. For beginners, it is a great opportunity to offer a wider range of healing with more vision awareness in ceremony rather than only one master plant intake. This has the advantage for the participant to feel the most result in the fastest way and will help connect more clearly with Ayahuasca.

Note: Intake of master plants are a deeper process and require 14 days dieta minimum at the center. They include a prior steam vapor to prepare to the intake of master plants. If you are looking for master plant intake dietas, please see our 3 weeks program retreat.</em>

Description

Individuals are most often affected or spiritually blocked by energies around the body in the energetic field (aura) that are keeping them from seeing their true purpose, having visions, feeling peace or happiness. That’s why Francisco prescribes a mix of master plants in a vapor steam bath, which helps to release the energy in your field. Even more, it is a really wonderful way to clean the skin, and to remove energies that have been bogging us down unnecessarily.

Francisco, our lead shaman, usually starts with a couple of Ayahuasca ceremonies, so he can diagnose what exactly it is that is affecting the mind, heart, body and soul. From there, he will “prescribe” whichever master plant(s) steam vapor dieta mix best suit your needs and intentions for your visit. It will be 3 vapor over three days (one each day). At the end of this first treatment, you have the option to drink Ayahuasca twice again to see the progress. And Francisco will redesign a second series of 3 vapor master plant, more precisely regarding the new visions that will come up from the new ceremonies. The process will end after the second series of vapor with 3 Ayahuasca ceremonies.

State of the Center

Please be aware that we are a new center at its early stages, but not the first we have managed. For the moment, it is a very simple structure, we have a capacity for 5 guests, it is a great opportunity to develop a privileged relationship with a shaman and receive a more personalized care. However, we plan to develop more bungalows regarding the volume of registrations this year, but no more than 12 people per ceremony. We want to keep small groups.

We have a ceremonial maloka space, 3 individual rooms/bungalow with private water closet (inside) with simple rain collector, 2 tambos for apprenticeships with private water closet (outside) with rain collector also, a dining room kitchen. We bring our water and food from town, and we bathe in the river for the moment. We also go by candlelight at night.

Our Spiritual Healing Process

Each individual has their own energy and perceptions of the spiritual world, but also their personal traumas, wounds and so on. Their experience is unique. Each healing process is personalized, no two people will have the exact same healing treatment when they come.

First, you will sit with Francisco for him to determine your energy. We usually start with a couple of Ayahuasca ceremonies, so he can diagnose what exactly it is that is affecting you (mind, heart, body and soul). From there he will “prescribe” whichever master plant(s) dieta, best suit your needs and intentions for your visit.

We will propose either cataplasm (plant plaster), steam vapor or intake of master healing plants:

Vapor baths dietas

Oftentimes, individuals can be affected or spiritually blocked by energies that are keeping them from seeing their true purpose, having visions, feeling peace or happiness. Normally this is because there is a lot of energy in the auras (around the body). That’s why Francisco will prescribe a vapor steam bath prior to the intake of a master plant that helps you to release the energy in your field. This has the advantage for the participant to feel the most result in the fastest way and will help you connect also faster and even more deeply to any intake of master plant including with Ayahuasca.

Cataplasm dietas

Sometimes, individuals can be affected physically and the core root of the energy can be located specifically in a certain part of the body (a body pain, for example). In that case, it will be suitable to receive locally on the body a preparation of a smashed master plants to the area on the body.

Master healing plant dietas

Usually offered after a prior vapor bath treatment, our shaman Francisco will have figured out which plants will help you heal best and respond to your spiritual needs. He will connect in ceremony the master healing plant’s spirit to your spirit. This will be like having a roommate in our energy field. The plant will then have access to the subconscious mind, traumas, energies, and memories. The spirit of the plant will become part of you. They are our spiritual psychologists. During the plant dieta it is best to stay as much as possible in our Bungalow on our own, relaxed and in meditation to be attentive to the spiritual messages. Our dreams can become very visual during this time, and it’s important to jot down what we see because often, it’s helpful for Francisco to know what to help with in ceremonies. Old traumas can resurface, old feelings, people, etc. It’s important to trust the process. The true healer in this work are the plants.

Depending on how long your plant dieta is, you will day by day go deeper and deeper into the spiritual realms and yourself. You will become very sensitive to all the energy around you and may start to have visions of the spiritual world. This is part of the experience. The plants will show the worlds we cannot always see with our physical eyes, and you may even start to sing. This would mean you are truly called to the apprenticeship.

Apprenticeships are for people who want to learn to heal themselves with help from the spirits. It is wonderful because it teaches you how to heal yourself, clean the energy in your body, mind and spirit, and also teaches you how to discern when an energy is around. You will learn to diagnose when a person is affected by energies. It will gift you new eyes to see, new senses to feel. The plants also prepare the body and the mind to perform the art of singing “icaros” (the sacred ceremony songs); your own vibration transmuting the airs into medicine. You will discover so much about the spiritual worlds and how it is always interconnected to this material world we live in at the moment.

Long term apprenticeships are advisable if someone wants to be prepared to immerse into the spiritual world to deeply fuse with plant spirits and to connect to their songs and knowledge. This process will certainly change once life. It’s an essential experience for those who are being called on this spiritual path.

With experience, we have noticed that those who have jumped too fast into the learning dieta process, end up overwhelmed by energies too difficult to manage and sooner or later, it will most probably end up blocking the connection. This takes time to fix, while interfere with the learning curve by loosing more time. As any well-done healing process will inevitably turn into an apprenticeship by the plant itself, we will give all the necessary time for the healing process.

So, it was important for us to really plan the strict learning process safely at our center. For those of you who know the strict dieta, we want to make it clear we are not offering just a “Dieta”. We do propose apprenticeship process which starts with a preparation phase with healing master plant dietas along with psychological and spiritual assistance. Each process is carefully designed and personalized.

Because of this, after extensive talks with Francisco, also taking in count that the apprenticeship process must be as efficient as possible, we have decided to define a learning program as following:

Step 1 is the Diagnostic. This step includes a series of Ayahuasca ceremonies to connect to spirit and diagnose your energy.

Step 2 is the healing. We will propose dietas either cataplasm (plant plaster), steam vapor or intake of master healing plants (two weeks to a month).

Step 3 is the transition. To better the transition toward learning, we offer this intermediary step on a short term with healing plant dietas practiced within the strict dieta learning tradition (two weeks to a month). This will help to be prepared to enter into the proper traditional strict dieta.

Step 4 is the strict learning dieta. This will involve strict isolation in silence and strict food diet in order to deeply connect to the spirit of a plant. (1 month minimum with the exception of advanced practitioners).

Step 5 is the practice. If you plan to learn, it is important to save room at the end of your strict diet for integrating correctly while practicing your healing art song you have learned in Ayahuasca ceremony (2 weeks).

This holistic apprenticeship program offered at our center is optimized to offer the best conditions to successfully connect and integrate fully the spiritual knowledge. Learning dietas for a beginner at our center requires a long term apprenticeship program; 3 months minimum, up to a year for mastery level (can be segmented).
