Truly, there are no words to describe “The Journey” itself and it is unique to each person….but I can attest to Ayahuasca’s absolutely loving, transformative, healing, enlightening, powerful and life changing experience for myself…just as I’ve heard and read about everyone else’s experience that has journeyed with “Mama Aya” or “Grandmother”.

I was very apprehensive and fearful about taking my journey with the medicine until I was connected with Alex and Jacquelyn. Instantly, I felt safe, protected and ready for my healing journey to begin. Tikkun is a place of absolute peace, privacy, safety and solace. I have taken two solo journeys with Jacquelyn and she is an amazingly loving space holder and guide. As a woman who had deeply rooted childhood trauma combined with a lifetime of choices and experiences that compounded my early traumas, I was powerfully called to “Mama Aya” for a year prior to taking my first journey and after I had exhausted every other traditional and non-traditional approach to therapy in the years prior. Ayahuasca had been “presenced” to me peripherally a year and a half ago and I knew nothing about plant-medicine at the time. I began to research and investigate over the next year and although I was a bit in fear of the potential danger….the calling would not let up. My calling was very powerfully to a SOLO journey and I could not find any facility in the U.S. nor Central or South America that offered a private and safe experience, but for me…it was the calling and the only way I knew I would be attempting the healing experience.

Through a close acquaintance and just by a “chance” encounter…I learned of Tikkun…I lost all fear after my first conversation with Alex and he and Jacquelyn made my solo journey possible. It continues to change my life every day in every positive way possible so far.
