San Pedro (Huachuma) $120 - $1,350

The Huachuma Project

Monchique, Algarve, Portugal

Welcome to The Huachuma Project,
Our flagship retreats are 3 nights and start with an optional Kambo cleanse on the first evening. Then it’s two whole days spent with Huachuma (San Pedro) – a plant teacher that stands as one of the most potent and transformative one amongst the others. Its healing ceremony aims to make participants flourish, encouraging their subconscious to unfurl like a blossoming flower. Indigenous cultures of western South America have been utilizing huachuma for thousands of years, making it the oldest recorded psychedelic medicine.
San Pedro is a mighty medicine, boasting a duration twice as long as Ayahuasca. It has the profound ability to open one’s heart to love and inner peace, both within oneself and the world. While Ayahuasca embodies femininity, San Pedro represents masculinity among these two medicines. Huachuma reveals the areas in need of change, providing insights into personal challenges and issues while empowering individuals to enact transformation.

Oftentimes, the mind obstructs the wisdom of the heart during healing experiences. San Pedro bypasses the mind’s defenses and ego resistance, directly accessing the heart’s depths. We have witnessed astonishing transformations in individuals who struggle with excessive mental activity that impedes their healing progress. Through San Pedro, they experience beautiful expansions of the heart, encountering a love they never thought possible before.
