Sowa Nete meaning “Healing World” in Shipibo language, originated in Peru, is our vision. With our 3, 5, 7, 10 and 21-day retreats we offer you the opportunity to dive deep within yourself, for you to reconnect to your essence and thus return back to harmony with yourself and Mother Nature.

Sowa Nete’s intention is supporting you through your personal journey of healing, involving the body, mind and soul.
Thanks to spending several months in the Peruvian Amazon studying plants, doing master plant dietas and other healing rituals, plus learning about yoga, meditation, different breathing techniques, reiki and others, we have a broad spectrum of knowledge that we want to pass on to you, so even when you leave us, you have great tools to continue your path in ease.

Carolina originally from Spain and Germany, and Mario coming from Argentina, make up the perfect combination between female and male energy, the northern and southern hemisphere, creating a balance and in this way bringing an understanding for the problems arising in the western world.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Mario & Carolina at Sowa Nete.
This was my first experience with the medicine, and coming from a city in the United States with no experience in anything related to this, including meditation and yoga, they were very patient and encouraging. They were easy to talk to, and the small group setting was very supportive.

The food was also incredible, as were the luxury accomodations (beautiful pool, good AC, private bedroom with a comfortable bed), which was important to me.

Aside from the powerful ceremonies, I learned so much from them. It was absolutely perfect.

It’s been a week since I’ve returned, and I can honestly say the medicine, along with their program, was completely life changing.
