Listen to My Traditional Ícaros

Icaros are sacred healing songs shared by the plants and passed down through generations of Amazonian healers. They are an important part of our ceremonies and the way I work with the plants. If you would like to hear a little of what awaits you at Santuario Icaroshia, I invite you to listen to two of my icaros below:

Welcome to Santuario Icaroshia (whatsapp: +51 944 058 980): A place of healing, connection, and ancestral wisdom in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon.

My name is Gran Maestra Aime Vargas Davila, and I warmly welcome you to Santuario Ícaroshia, a traditional Amazon plant dieta center nestled deep in the Amazon rainforest near Pucallpa, Peru.

Our sanctuary is dedicated to preserving and sharing the ancestral wisdom of the Amazon through traditional plant medicine, including Ayahuasca and master plants such as Bobinsana, Ayahuma, Chiric Sanango, Piñon Colorado, Chicura Patiquina, and others.

The knowledge and healing practices I share have been passed down through generations. Each retreat is guided with care, humility, respect, and a deep sense of responsibility to both the plants and the traditions from which this wisdom comes.

At Santuario Icaroshia, we believe that nature is a living teacher. When we approach the plants with openness, patience, and respect, they can help us deepen our understanding of ourselves, strengthen our relationships, and reconnect with the natural and spiritual world.

More than a retreat center, Santuario Ícaroshia is a spiritual family. Here, you will be welcomed with warmth, kindness, and acceptance, just as you are.

A Personal Journey, Guided with Care

Every retreat at Santuario Ícaroshia is personal. Rather than offering the same experience to everyone, I work closely with each guest to understand their intentions and create a dieta that honors their individual needs and healing journey.

Before you arrive, we will speak about what brings you here, what you hope to explore, and which plants may be appropriate for your journey.

When you arrive in Pucallpa, I will personally welcome you at the airport and accompany you into the jungle. Together, we will travel by boat for approximately one hour along the beautiful Ucayali River to our sanctuary near the small community of Nuevo Bagazán.

Far from the distractions of everyday life, surrounded by the sounds and beauty of the rainforest, you will have the opportunity to slow down, turn inward, and develop a deeper relationship with the plants, nature, and yourself.

It is my joy to share this ancestral knowledge and to welcome those who feel called to experience it with sincerity and respect.

I look forward to welcoming you into our home and our spiritual family.

With love and gratitude,

Gran Maestra Aime Vargas Dávila

Gran Maestra Aime Vargas Davila and Santuario Icaroshia are the real deal. Aime is an extraordinarily attuned and talented healer with decades of knowledge and experience that she shares generously. First and foremost, she is deeply heart-centered, and that spirit permeates the sanctuary she and her husband, Fran, have created.

I had been looking for something very specific: an authentic retreat that was small, intimate, and deeply connected to the medicine—not a place cycling huge numbers of people through ceremonies with exhausted curanderos. I wanted to learn and heal in a space with healers who were genuinely present, who had the time and energy to know me, and who still approached this work with reverence. I found exactly that with Aime and Fran.

I attended a two-week dieta and truly felt like family. The experience was incredibly special and genuinely life-changing. When I visited in August 2026, the retreat was still being built and was a bit off the grid, so it is important to arrive prepared for that. The jungle can be challenging, but for me, it was very much part of the journey.

Lastly, Aime and Fran have an extraordinary connection to the jungle and the rhythms of nature. They are among the most intuitive and telepathic people I have ever met, while also being remarkably kind-hearted, humble, and grounded. They have a wonderful crew of healing animals who accompany them everywhere around the property, which adds something very special to the experience and to the ceremonies.

Icaroshia touched me deeply, and I left feeling profoundly grateful for Aime, Fran, the jungle, and everything they shared with me. If you are looking for a very talented and heart centered master teacher, you will find it here. And to hear Gran Maestra Aime sing, you can hear her here, her voice is amazing.
