Naturalia Retreat Center – Authentic Ayahuasca & Plant Diets in the Heart of the Amazon

Hidden deep in the Peruvian Amazon, Naturalia Retreat Center is a sanctuary of healing, authenticity, and reconnection.
We welcome you as family, in a sacred and intimate space where the jungle itself becomes your teacher and the medicine your guide.

Our retreats are guided by Shipibo healers from ancient and respected lineages who carry the ancestral wisdom of Ayahuasca with deep reverence.
Each ceremony takes place in our Sacred Maloca, surrounded by the living forest, following the purest Shipibo traditions — with icaros (sacred songs) that cleanse, guide, and open the heart.

We receive only five participants per retreat, allowing us to adapt personally to each guest’s rhythm and needs. This small, family-sized format offers deep presence, flexibility, and genuine care — a level of attention rarely possible in larger, more touristic centers.

During your stay, you will have several private and confidential interviews with the Shipibo maestros, who are available 24 hours a day for healing, guidance, or reassurance. Their kindness and wisdom create a safe, sacred container for profound transformation.

At Naturalia, we also offer traditional plant diets (dietas) for those who feel called to deepen their journey. This ancient practice, rooted in the most authentic Shipibo tradition, invites silence, introspection, and direct communion with the spirit of the Amazonian plants — a transformative encounter with yourself and nature.

Our multilingual facilitators (fluent in Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, and Italian) live on site, are trained in first aid, and accompany each guest with gentleness, integrity, and professionalism.
Your safety and well-being are our absolute priority.

Naturalia is located within a 38-hectare protected rainforest reserve, just two hours from Iquitos, where wildlife, plants, and humans coexist in harmony. Guests stay in private bungalows with ensuite toilets, surrounded by the vibrant sounds of the jungle. Meals are organic, plant-based, and lovingly prepared to support your healing and integration process.

In addition to the ceremonies, we offer yoga, meditation, flower baths, jungle walks, local farm visits, and cacao workshops — moments of grounding and joy that help embody your inner work.

Beyond personal healing, Naturalia is also committed to preserving the Amazon rainforest and its wildlife, supporting local native communities, and rescuing animals that have suffered from deforestation or captivity.
By joining us, you become part of a larger movement of healing — for yourself, for the Earth, and for all living beings.

At Naturalia, you are not a tourist — you are a traveler of the soul.
We honor your courage to heal and walk beside you with compassion, authenticity, and care, from your first step in the jungle to your return to the world, renewed and reconnected.

Come and live this sacred experience — a journey of healing, love, and awakening in the heart of the Amazon.

Hey!

I don’t usually leave reviews but felt I needed to share my experiences. I have been to this retreat twice, and both times I left feeling amazing. It truly felt like a home from home. Totally picturesque. The location was incredible, nestled in the Amazon forest. The accommodation and food were fantastic, and the general atmosphere was very relaxing and healing. Manu and Paula were warm, welcoming, and couldn’t do enough for me. The biggest selling point and the reason I chose this specific retreat was the fact they only take 5 people per retreat. It was a small and intimate group which meant it felt more personal and the ceremonies were more tailored. Can’t recommend enough, and hopefully one day I have the privilege of returning!

I’ve just returned from Naturalia Retreats in Iquitos for my second ayahuasca retreat, and once again, the experience went far beyond anything I could have imagined.
If my first retreat was an awakening, this one was a true metamorphosis.

From the very beginning, Manu and his team created an atmosphere of total trust.
Their organization is impeccable: a warm welcome, smooth logistics, and a discreet yet reassuring presence. You immediately feel cared for, supported, and free to focus entirely on your inner journey.

    The place itself is magical.
In the heart of the Amazon, nature seems to vibrate differently:
the birds singing at dawn, the whisper of the forest… everything contributes to opening the heart and mind. This exceptional environment enhances every moment, every insight, every silence.

But the true strength of this retreat is the people.
Manu and his team are extraordinary—attentive, professional, deeply human, and always there when you need them. Their kindness creates a space where you can truly let go, feel safe, and fully experience the process, even during the most intense moments.

    The ceremonies were incredibly powerful.
The medicine is offered with deep respect, ancestral wisdom, and an incredibly gentle form of guidance.
With each ceremony, something within me opened, released, and transformed.

I leave this retreat feeling expanded, peaceful, and aligned.
It is so much more than a trip—it is a pilgrimage of the soul, a meeting with oneself, a return to what truly matters.

And I am deeply grateful to Manu and his team for this journey that will remain engraved in my heart forever.
