Maloca Sagrada

Cali, Colombia

Come be taken care of. High in the mountains outside Cali, Colombia, our farm sits among the clouds in a lush cloud forest, on land that once held a 3,000-year-old civilization. This is a place of peace and rest, where the soul can reconnect with the source of all that is.

Over nine days, guided by the wisdom and experience of Taita Edwin, you will be held in a space that feels like home. Our retreat offers far more than a getaway. It is an opportunity for deep healing, reflection, and lasting transformation with the sacred medicine.

At the heart of the retreat are four nights of sacred yagé ceremony, held in a maloca built by Taita himself and dedicated to the medicine, as well as outdoors under the open stars, surrounded by the wild beauty of the land. You will be supported throughout in a true family atmosphere, with safety, clarity, courage, and purpose. Connecting with the plant on the very land where it grows is a powerful experience that cannot be recreated elsewhere.

Between ceremonies, your days are filled with rest and gentle care: meditation, breathwork, yoga, herbal baths, rapé and sananga, and evening sharing circles. You are welcome to explore the farm, meet the animals, and pick fresh fruit. The hospitality, warmth, and kindness of the people, the beauty of the land, and the sounds and music of the valley come together to create a true sanctuary.

Your Nine-Day Retreat

Day 1 – Arrival. Upon arrival at Cali International Airport (CLO), you’ll be warmly welcomed and transferred to our peaceful finca, where you’ll meet the group, settle into your accommodations, and begin your journey.

Day 2 – Grounding. Ease into the retreat with a day dedicated to relaxation and preparation. Enjoy guided meditation, breathwork, yoga, and a traditional rapé and sananga ceremony to help prepare your body, mind, and spirit.

Day 3 – First Sacred Ceremony. Spend the day resting at the finca, receiving herbal baths, and preparing for your first evening of sacred yagé ceremony.

Day 4 – Second Sacred Ceremony. Continue your journey with a restful day, herbal baths, and your second evening ceremony.

Day 5 – Integration. A gentle day to rest, reflect, and integrate your experiences, ending with an evening sharing circle where participants can connect and support one another.

Day 6 – Third Sacred Ceremony. Enjoy another restorative day with herbal baths before gathering for the third evening of sacred yagé ceremony.

Day 7 – Final Sacred Ceremony. Your final ceremony night is preceded by a peaceful day of rest and herbal baths, allowing you to fully prepare for this meaningful experience.

Day 8 – Celebration. Spend the day relaxing at the finca before joining the group for a celebratory barbecue and a closing sharing circle in the evening.

Day 9 – Departure. After breakfast, you’ll be transferred back to Cali International Airport (CLO) for your onward journey.

    The absolute best.

Having been a follower of this medicine for 12 years, I’ve sat in many places in Europe, the US and South America.

There are levels to this, as anything in life. What I’ve experienced under the care of this retreat and it’s team and Taita Edwin is profound, safe and beyond any imagination of what this loving medicine can be.

Every moment at this retreat is prepared and filled with loving care for each guest. From the moment you’re picked up at the airport until the moment you leave, you can feel the intention, devotion and reverence. From daily washing of your clothing, to the delicious food prepared for you, to the deep service and care of the medicine, I can not imagine a place more rooted in love and care.

Since starting to sit in this medicine with Taita Edwin, Claudia and their team, I’ve truly understood what an important decision it is to choose who facilitates this path for you.

I can not recommend enough taking this incredible opportunity to explore life, self and all of the many layers of your soul under the loving care of this team and this land.

I had the privilege in doing the 7-day retreat a couple of years back.
I am a practicing Tibetan Buddhist and have taken part in several retreats in traditional Tibetan Buddhism centers. I can honestly say that Taita Edwin retreat was nothing but amazing.
Doing ayahuasca is very challenging, mostly mentally but also physically. Taita Edwin’s team provides the best environment where you don’t have to worry about survival (or even comfort) and you can fully focus on your spiritual and emotional journey.
I didn’t understand that in the beginning, but I understood it during the week.
That week in the center helped me deal with one of the most challenging times in my life, and it was Taita Edwin’s clairvoyance, personal attention and focus on me that made that possible. He understood what was happening inside me without me ever speaking a word, and he helped me through it. I will never forget it and will forever be grateful to him and his team.

I cant say enough about this place – I have been coming for years and it gets better and better.

The views and sunsets are amazing, food is fresh and delicious, everyone is so nice and accommodations are really very comfortable.

I have slept in a room with others, and slept in a cabin solo and both experiences were great. Clothes are washed daily, steam room with fresh herbs daily, hot tub overlooking the valley, and I havent even begun about the ceremonies.

The medicine is served with a lot of reverence, love and humility by Taita Edwin and helpers. There is always someone available to assist if needed and I love the openness to people of all walks of life and backgrounds. Truly life changing experience – highly recommend!!
