Our mission is to provide a safe, honest and sincere space for people of all walks of life to come and heal. We believe in the combined power of plant medicine, community and emotional vulnerability. These key elements are the fertile soil for beautiful transformation to occur in our lives!

Maharani Medicine first opened its doors in 2018– since then, we have served at over 110 retreats. We are proud to be a culturally diverse hub for seekers of all kinds. We are honored to be of service to anyone with a desire to grow, learn and heal regardless of background, age or creed.

Here are some things that set us apart from other groups:

Our groups are ALWAYS intimate & small. We will never serve a group larger than ten people. This fosters a sense of community between participants & staff, creating a safe, familial atmosphere.
We keep a supportive staff-to-participant ratio so we can all feel fully supported in this intense journey. We strive to have 3-4 facilitators on board in addition to our Medicine Woman. Our team members are humble volunteers with ample personal experience with plant medicine. Each facilitator brings their own unique abilities to retreats.
Our medicine is brewed “in house”, sourcing high quality materials from sustainable sources from Central America. We brew one jar at a time, prepped especially for each upcoming retreat.
We place a strong emphasis on Integration. Integration means applying the lessons learned during ceremony to everyday life. Integration is what separates recreational use of medicines from ceremonial & intentional use! It is very important we honor ourselves and our medicines in this way. We offer multiple integration circles during the weekend and also provide supportive resources for our participants when they go home.
Our Guides have been blessed with immense musical gifts that activate and amplify our Medicine. Most specifically, our participants often laud their technique at moving the energies as integral to their experience. Many Plant Medicine traditions suggest that music is the vessel which carries the ceremonial energy. The music harmonizes with the medicine and serves as a “Lighthouse” that helps each participant navigate their internal shadows & light alike. The music serves as a compass to bring us back our hearts. Whether it be the mysterious sound of the steel drum, the call of the flute or powerful icaros (medicine songs), we are confident these voices will sing you home.
We are officially non-profit & church. Spirituality is very important to us, but we will never be dogmatic in our beliefs. While our ceremonies are spiritually based, they are very universalist as well. Folks with secular beliefs will not have issues connecting to the ceremony experience.
Above all else, we strive to “keep it real”. It can feel extremely overwhelming to find the right practitioner, modality or healing space when we live in such a fast-paced world. We are happy to provide a simple, organic and humble space where you can just be yourself. We believe that everyone is a student in this space— we are all learning from one another at all times! Our Retreats are for you if…

You are looking for a retreat that is not overwhelming in size.
You are seeking a supportive community to connect with in the long-term– Whether it be for integration, friendship, spirituality or medicinal purposes!
You are unable to travel to South America or commit to a longer term retreat.
You are ready to commit to four weeks of Dieta- the physical and mental cleansing that prepares us for ceremony.
You feel a profound urge to become a better human, work on trauma, process challenging emotions, foster a deeper connection with Nature or expand your relationship with Spirit/Source/The Universe.

We are a “mobile ministry”. This means that we split our time between Upstate New York and the high desert of Arizona. We feel the call to be in service to both sides of this country. We also hope to someday soon travel to other states and offer our retreats in more locations.

In Arizona, we are hosted by community members on their properties. For our New York offerings, we have a beautiful property in the woods that we hold our retreats in. Because we host small retreats, we don’t have the need to have a large retreat center. This means that our accommodations are humble and communally shared.

Vision Statement

Our vision is to become compassionate, pure, healthy, and unconditionally loving people. Through prayer, meditation and the foundational support of our ancestors and their medicines, we humbly walk this path.

In a world shrouded by illusion, our Medicine bursts through the shadows as a shining light. We call upon the guidance of our sacred plant teachers to shed hardened layers around our heart built by the suffering we have endured.

Through dance and song, we shatter resistance keeping us from a righteous and all pervading Spiritual Relationship with life. Our ancient Amazonian Medicine combined with communal celebration yields profound healing for our selves and the entire planet.

We strongly believe in the Great Spirit that dwells within all living beings. This Spirit is alive, deeply caring and calling us home to the Present Moment. We embrace all religions and creeds. All roads lead to the same One, loving and ever-present Being.

Our Mission is to provide a sacred container, as well as education and support for those who are called to Plant Medicine. Ceremony is a state of mind that can embraced every single moment of our lives. We seek to help others cultivate this way of being through integrating spiritual experience.

We also believe that human connection is a powerful gateway to the soul. Maharani Medicine offers a community space for all people to share and grow.

I have now sat twice in this beautiful circle of people trying to change the world one ceremony at a time. Both experiences were top notch with feelings of love, nurture, and deep caring for my well-being from the moment I arrived on property and has not stopped. From Eliana’s amazing voice and musical abilities calls in beautiful Icaros that move grandma deep inside. She fully immerses herself into providing the best experience as lead facilitator and guides the facilitation team with grace and beauty.
The facilitation team, just wow!!! They each bring an uniqueness to container that provides comfort as you travel your experience. I am blessed to have met this amazing group and never felt supported in the ways I do now. This circle has allowed me to leave behind much guilt and shame I’ve experienced in life as they support my journey, exactly as it needs to be. No projection of what I should do, just a deep understanding of what I needed in that moment. They honored me and the path I needed to take to work on myself further which leaves me feeling so filled with their love and support, and it hasn’t stopped since leaving.
Amazing human beings doing solid work to make my experiences world class, and to them and Grandma Aya, I am eternally grateful

I probably wouldn’t be here today if not for Eliana & her beautiful ceremonies.

I first came to Eliana in 2020, dealing with major health issues that really took a toll on my quality of life and had me contemplating ending things. I have sat in around 22 ceremonies and facilitated four more with Eliana, and the growth and healing I’ve experienced from her ceremonies are one of the main reasons I am here today.

Eliana creates an incredibly safe and respectful space where you can be vulnerable, feel held, seen and safe enough to dig deep and do whatever work you’ve come to do. She herself is strong and respectful towards the medicine, and she finds wonderful facilitators who are kind, skilled and exactly the kind of people you want around when you’re wading through the muck. Her ceremonies are small and contained and she always has enough help, so things never go off the rails.

Eliana herself is a light — wise, kind, and honestly really freaking funny. You will be crying one moment and laughing the next. And her music is beyond comprehension. She is a classically trained opera singer and her voice can do otherworldly things; her lyrics are beautiful and cut straight to your soul, and she can play like a dozen instruments masterfully.

Every weekend I have sat with her has been magical, and I have learned so much. She has become a lifelong friend, and I am proud to be a part of the community she’s built in upstate New York. I am a completely different person than I was when I first found Eliana’s ceremonies — happier, more whole, more self-confident — and I am so grateful to have found her. You will not make a mistake sitting in her ceremonies.

I just returned from the journey of a lifetime! An entire life of healing and revealing experienced in 48 hours. Eliana was the perfect Guide for the magic of this plant medicine for me, providing wisdom, compassion, encourage with “otherworldly “ synchronicity. This experience has resuscitated my heart and life. I am not the same person that arrived and I know gratitude, love, and interconnectedness not just as a verbal constructs, but as direct experiences. I Highly recommend Eliana and Maharani because the ceremonies are simply safe, effective, and centered around a pure and powerful intention that is held from the very first contact with Eliana and remains thereafter.

I find showing love to this space by means of writing a review to be an overwhelming task. There are no words I can use to describe how deeply I feel for Maharani.

Maharani, and all of its components, carry the medicine with the highest intention, integrity, compassion, and safety. This space contains all the proper ingredients necessary to reach for the potency of all that medicine can be.

The medicine lives within Maharani in grate abundance. Eliana, and her music, compliment and work with Grandmother Aya and the medicine undeniably and irrevocably. Her deep, unwavering connection to the medicine,
and to Spirit, guides us to new depths of ourselves, our connection to all, and our healing.

Marharani also attracts the most genuine, humble, and heart centered people I have ever met. We come together in ceremony and medince, and we leave in ceremony, in medicine, and so much more; including in family. I am beyond grateful that I get to call this beautiful community my family.

I have had the privilege of sitting and facilitating within Maharani for about three years. During this time I have witnessed countless miracles transpire within myself, others, and within our community.

After years of suffering mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, I have been able to take back and reshape my life in ways I previously did not know how. Through the medicine of Maharani I have been able to work through an immeasurable amount of trauma and abuse that I have endured. With a full heart, and teary eyes, I write this review as a much happier, healthier, sovereign, and connected, woman standing in my power, in comparison to who I was when I first walked through the gates of Maharani. Rightfully so, I give so much credit to Maharani, and to the medicine of this space and its people.

I met so many wonderful people in the two ceremonies I have done at Maharani that I have become friends with. I learned through them & Eliana that different Ayahuasca medicine carriers hold ceremony and serve in their own way based on their teachings & wisdom they carry.
I hope in my review you feel my words and my experiences.
I was blessed to have completed Eliana’s 3 month online spiritual immersion program before my first ceremony because I have never done any plant medicine before.
It really prepared me to be ready for the experience. You need to prepare.
When I found out Eliana was moving to Arizona I signed up for one of her last ceremonies here in NY because I don’t know if I would trust anyone else with serving me Ayahuasca and holding sacred space the way she and her facilitators hold it. Her facilitators are phenomenal because they are beautiful souls and a reflection of her and hence a reflection of me (as I became aware of this through the process).
I never felt alone and only needed to ask for something and someone was always available whether it was to fill my water jug, get me a new puck bucket or walk me to the bathroom. The integration part of the weekend is Amazing on so many levels. I have so many experiences that I am grateful for. I trust her with my life and so I trust her with the medicine she carry’s within her and how she serves. I needed Hapeh to help purge 2 of the four times because what needed to be purged was not leaving without a fight (family lineage & spells). She sang, drummed, burned sage & palo Santo and played music and everything she did was in Divine Timing. I could tell you story after story of this.
If you are new to Ayahuasca like I was was…..Eliana is the best human being. She is honest and transparent and still sees her teacher from Peru. Like anyone in this position you will find someone who has something unpleasant to say about her. She Carrie’s herself with integrity and never gossips about anyone. She lives what she stands for.
My review is honest, transparent & from the heart. All I know is I went into my experiences with an open heart and open mind ready & determined to expose what needed clearing that I couldn’t get to by any other means (therapy, reiki, shamanism) and I received exactly what I asked for and what I didn’t know I needed until it was shown to me.
