Held in a breathtaking sanctuary, within the lush mountains of Colombia, our week-long retreats are guided by Ayahuasca — an ancient plant medicine deeply rooted in the healing traditions of the Amazon. Our ceremonies are led by indigenous crowned-Shaman of the Inga lineage – Master healers who have dedicated their lives to this sacred ancestral medicine. With decades of experience, we weave ancient traditions with personalized support, balance and integration – creating a powerful yet grounded environment for your journey. Our retreats provide for a “full”, pure, and authentic immersion with the medicine.

WHAT IS AYAHUASCA?
For over a thousand years, this Amazonian plant medicine has been used in a sacred context, by Indigenous healers throughout the Amazon basin, as a profound healing modality.
The scope of this ancient medicine is vast, for when consumed in its traditional context, Ayahuasca induces an altered state of consciousness, opening a gateway for deep therapeutic work to address dis-ease in the body, mind, and spirit. At its core, this medicine initiates a profound cleansing process, purging physical and energetic blockages that disconnect us from our true selves and our divine essence. this process works to release us from traumas and to re-awaken our innate abilities, allowing us to gain clarity on our life’s purpose. It is the foundation for the traditional medicine systems of over 75 different cultures in the Amazon, and has spread to various regions across the globe, offering healing for many illnesses and dis-ease where modern medicine has failed.

June 19, 2026 at 6:00 amBreathtaking setting, a dedicated team of guardian angels (including some incredible musicians who accompany each ceremony), and perhaps most importantly, a place that honors the ancestral traditions of ayahuasca in such an authentic and respectful way. The shaman (Taita Henrri) comes from a long lineage of healers from the Inga community, and it’s special to share in his culture.
It’s so important to be in a safe environment for an ayahuasca ceremony, and La Ceiba puts so much intention and care into the well-being of each person who comes through. I’ve recommended (and will continue to recommend) this place to my closest friends and family members. Truly a life-changing experience.

The music was transcendental, and the talent within this community to hold space and create a container for healing, connection, and love was unlike anything I’ve experienced before. Keenan and Val are incredible leaders and facilitators. You can immediately tell they bring years of experience, wisdom, and professionalism to everything they do.
This experience left a lasting impact on me, and I will absolutely be back. I would highly recommend La Ceiba to anyone looking for a meaningful, heart-centered, and truly transformative experience.

The facilities are beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly comfortable. The entire team is made up of extraordinary people whose kindness, professionalism, and genuine commitment to service create a safe and welcoming environment.
One aspect that sets La Ceiba apart is the presence of a medical doctor and surgeon who provides guidance and support throughout the process. I have never encountered this level of professional medical integration in any other Ayahuasca center around the world. What impressed me most was the way modern medical knowledge is combined with profound respect for the ancestral traditions surrounding this sacred medicine.
The Shaman’s presence is a blessing. His wisdom, charisma, and medicine are truly unique. The musicians are exceptional—some of the most beautiful and powerful ceremonial music I have ever experienced. The food is also delicious, nourishing, and thoughtfully prepared.
What makes La Ceiba stand out above all else is the quality of the people behind it. The hosts are honest, caring, and deeply committed to creating a meaningful experience for every guest. They have made me feel like part of a family.
I have returned several times, and each visit has exceeded my expectations. Rather than becoming complacent, they continue to improve and bring even greater levels of care, professionalism, and heart to their work.
