One of the most beautiful experiences of my life.

I am from Brazil where Ayahuasca, Huachuma, mushrooms and other natural medicines are easily available. Even though I had experienced some of them, my heart wanted to live them while on Peru for a deeper connection with the Inca wisdom. However, I was not sure what medicine to take. I went to some shops, messaged some number on flyers in order to look for an experience that would touch my heart but I none of them clicked with me. The main reason was because, I believe, that they were very expensive and I wasn´t sure about the real intentions of the person behind the ritual. Therefore, I gave up and decided not to have an experience. With that though in mind, I decided to spend a couple of days in the Sacred Valley (Ollantaytambo) untill my Inca Trail beguin. On my last day there, I was going to rent a bike to explore the surondings and on the last minute the hostel´s receptionist told me about some hikkings, and I decided to change plans and take a colectivo to Puma Marka. When I got there, by myself, I was following google maps but wasn´t very sure about the path. That´s when I saw a small group of people and I beautiful huge dog. I approched them and we all started hikking together. I realized they were kind of on a ritual state of mind. On that momen I realized that the Andes had sent me the experience I was looking for, at the right moment, with the right people at THAT place. When I approached Stephano, the shaman to ask about waht they were doing and ask if I could join them, I didn´t even had to say a word. It was like Stephano had read my thoughts, and he just said “There´s a reason you are here right now. You are part of the experience. Feel free to join us”.

We had a Huachuma experience, with a coca ritual and some cannabis. With the intention of self knowledege and spiritual vibrations. Firstly each one of us took a tarot card what was a beautiful experience opening. We also had some Yoga, Inca knowledge conversation and nature contemplation. That place could not be more beautiful. When the medicines effects started to work, my heart melted, my mind opened and bliss flowed through my entire body. The musics played helped even more to conect with the Inca Love. While contemplating the Sacred Valley mountains, I could see deities shapes dancing in the mountains forms, I was part of the dance. Even though I had just met the group, I felt so welcomed, the feeling was that I was part of the familly. Finally, I had the experience I wanted, withouth the fear that the guide was there only for the financial aspect of it. Stephano never mentioned a contribution or anything, he was there out of pure love and I really apreciate that. I just have to thank everyone that was there for that beutiful experience and contributed to one of the most memorable days of my life. The lessons learned are with me forever.
