Welcome to Onixobo.

We’re an indigenous Shipibo-conibo family, working for many generations with the sacred plant Ayahuasca and other medicinal plants of the Peruvian Amazonas. Our main purpose is to share, help and heal the physical, psychological and spiritual health of the patients.

Don Julio is a healer with more than 30 years of medicine learned from his ancestral roots. His icaros (shamanic chants) are filled with energy through which he transmits his knowledge and wisdom to help and cure his patients. Alongside curative treatments he also dedicates his time to the maintenance and cleaning of his rural land (Chacra) where he grows medicinal plants, animals, fruits and trees.

Here our retreats are small scale and affordable. There is a maximum of 8 participants in each ceremony (but often less). We feel this gives you space to go deep into your personal healing process.

We combine the deep-cleansing and curative Ayahuasca with medicinal plant diets to bring enhanced healing to our guests.

You’ll have the opportunity to experience the very depths of your psyche in the aim of expanding your self-knowledge.

Thus, you will strengthen the self-confidence allowing you to reach the freedom stage, facilitating making decision process and giving you the security, confidence, that might be lacking at some point.
