It’s been a week or so since my retreat in Ayahuasca House, and I can feel how the medicine has untangled some things, revealed others and has given me a new perspective on what’s ahead. Of course I thank mother Aya for this, but I also thank the staff for creating a safe and respectful space where the Mother can unfold its healing power and change lives.
Renato is a straightforward and generous shaman that knows what he is doing. Sabina is a great compliment to Renato and provides useful and loving insight on your path with the medicine. Tom is grounded, soothing and a great person to have around in a ceremony. The music is sublime, no other word to describe it. The food by Darsi and Duvan is amazing. The staff is dedicated, kind and will always have a nice smile to send your way. It’s basically a family, and they make you feel like a member.
It’s also great that they have a limited amount of people per retreat. That way everyone is under loving supervision and taken care of.
All in all, a life changing and magical experience. There is no way that you come out of this retreat the same person that you came in. There is a reason why so many people return to it. So if you feel the calling, you want to try a different approach to deal with that condition or addiction or simply want to experience what oneness feels like, this is a great place to be.

February 26, 2024 at 12:35 pmTruly life changing experience. Renato is the perfect guide to cut through the bs. He adds humor just when it’s needed most. Tom was fantastic and was a perfect complement to Renato. He is steady, thoughtful and just a great human being. Sabine also cuts through the bs during my session with her. This stops the usual time wasting that usually accompanies therapy sessions. A special thanks to the kitchen staff who always put out amazing food and the girls who kept the house clean. I can’t thank you enough!

Plant medicine can be very powerful and I am thankful I experienced it in a safe space. It was a worthwhile investment, with tangible benefits and I look forward to future returns!
