Vine of the Soul Retreats

Faro, Algarve, Portugal

At Vine of the Soul Retreats, we believe healing unfolds from the inside out.
The body and psyche already hold the intelligence to restore balance—what most people need is the right environment, guidance, and support.

Our retreats provide a safe, trauma-informed container for deep personal work, combining traditional plant medicines with modern therapeutic insight. We offer ayahuasca retreats in Europe alongside optional work with San Pedro, psilocybin, Kambo, and Bufo, always approached with care, preparation, and integration.

Rather than offering a rigid retreat structure, we created a flexible retreat model. Participants can stay 2–8 nights and choose the pace and depth of their experience. Some guests come for a single ceremony and integration work, others engage in multiple ceremonies combined with coaching, breathwork, and somatic practices.

Our retreats take place in the Portuguese countryside, surrounded by open landscapes, orchards, and quiet natural spaces. The location is easily accessible from nearby airports while still offering the privacy and tranquility needed for deep inner work. Occasionally we also do retreats in the Netherlands and Spain – always respecting local law.

Guests can rest in shaded outdoor areas, gather for integration practices, or spend quiet evenings under the stars on our rooftop platform.

Accommodation includes comfortable shared rooms (maximum 2 guests), limited private rooms, and seasonal glamping tents during the summer months.

Meals are prepared with care to support the retreat process. We serve fresh, ayahuasca-friendly meals, emphasizing clean ingredients that nourish the body while supporting clarity and emotional balance.

Whether you come seeking healing, reflection, or reconnection with yourself, our retreats offer a space where the nervous system can settle and deeper insights can emerge.

Preparation and Integration
One of the most common weaknesses in the psychedelic retreat space is the lack of proper preparation and integration.

At Vine of the Soul, these elements are central to our approach.

Before the retreat, guests receive guidance and preparation support so they arrive informed and grounded. During the retreat, our facilitators provide individual consultations, group integration circles, and ongoing support throughout the process.

After the retreat, participants continue their integration with follow-up calls and access to our community resources.

We are also offer a digital integration platform and healing app designed to extend the retreat process beyond the ceremony space. The app offers guided integration tools, educational resources, and personalized practices to help participants translate their insights into lasting change.

Bridging Ancient Medicines and Modern Understanding
Our team combines experience in traditional plant medicine practices with modern approaches to healing and integration.

Facilitators and collaborators include professionals from fields such as psychology, trauma-informed coaching, bodywork, and somatic practices. This allows us to support participants not only during ceremonies, but also in the deeper psychological and emotional processes that often follow.

Our role is not to interpret your experience or impose meaning. Instead, we help create the conditions where your own insight and inner intelligence can emerge.

The Role of Plant Medicines
Sacred plants such as ayahuasca, San Pedro, and psilocybin have been used for centuries to explore consciousness and support healing.

When approached responsibly and within a supportive container, these medicines can help people gain perspective on long-standing patterns, reconnect with parts of themselves that were previously hidden, and access emotional material that may be difficult to reach through conversation alone.

The medicine does not “fix” people. Instead, it can reveal what needs attention. The real work lies in how those insights are integrated afterward. Our multi-medicine approach is by design, since understand that not every medicine is appropriate at a certain time for a certain person. This why we carefully discuss with our guests and plan the approach, to find the exact right medicine at the right time.

Meeting the Shadow
Transformation often begins where we least want to look.

Facing difficult emotions, old patterns, or unresolved memories can be challenging. In the right environment, however, these moments often become gateways to clarity, self-acceptance, and renewed direction.

Every participant arrives with a different story, and every journey unfolds in its own way. Our role is simply to hold a safe, respectful space where that process can take place.
