Our Path
At Flower of life Ayahuasca Healing Center, we hold a sacred space for those who feel called to turn inward, heal the heart, and remember who they truly are. Our purpose is to support deep processes of transformation, guiding each person along a path of reconnection with their inner truth, the wisdom of nature, and the calling of the soul.
We are located three hours from Iquitos, in a remote and blessed corner of the Peruvian Amazon near the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. Surrounded by the vastness of the jungle, the songs of birds, and the living energy of the river, our center offers the ideal setting to release the noise of the outside world and enter into communion with the unseen, the natural, and the sacred.
We offer medicinal plant diet retreats of 5, 8, and 14 days, as well as a 28-day transformational program and a six-week course in Sacred Shamanism and Curanderismo. Each of these paths has been created with love, respect, and deep intention to support authentic processes of healing, learning, and spiritual awakening.
During their stay, participants may take part in Ayahuasca and San Pedro ceremonies guided by Shipibo healers from the Amazon, as well as Kambo sessions and master plant diets. Our programs also include floral aromatherapy baths, medicinal plant steam baths, daily herbal remedies, and jungle excursions, all thoughtfully woven together to nourish the body, cleanse the spirit, and open the heart.
Flower of life Ayahuasca healing center was founded and is lovingly held by a Peruvian woman who deeply believes in the healing power of medicinal plants and in the ancestral wisdom that lives within the jungle. From this feminine, loving, and protective vision, a safe, intimate, and welcoming space has been created where each visitor can feel held, cared for, and truly supported.
The Medicine
Our Ayahuasca is prepared exclusively with the Ayahuasca vine and Chacruna leaf, honoring the purity and tradition of this sacred medicine. Each preparation is made with respect, prayer, and intention, with the understanding that this is not simply a plant medicine, but a living consciousness that teaches, reveals, and transforms.
As one of the few Ayahuasca centers led by a woman, we deeply honor the feminine spirit of Mother Ayahuasca. We believe in her loving strength, in her ability to guide with both firmness and tenderness, and in her power to help us remember our sensitivity, our truth, and our connection to life. For us, this feminine presence not only heals, but also awakens and restores balance within the inner world of each being.
The Lodge
Flower of life Ayahuasca Healing Center is located on the banks of the Marañón River, in one of the purest, most pristine, and spiritually powerful regions of the Peruvian Amazon. The closeness of the water offers a silent and profound medicine. Many feel that the river accompanies, cleanses, and supports the healing process in a way that is almost invisible, yet deeply real.
Our lodge was built with inspiration drawn from the architecture of Incan temples. Several female healers who have spent time in this space feel that this land carries an ancient memory, as if it may once have been a sacred ceremonial site. The pyramidal landscape, the power of the surroundings, and the spiritual presence that can be felt here make this place a natural portal for introspection, prayer, and self-discovery.
We understand that working with Ayahuasca can be one of the most intense and revealing experiences of a person’s life. For this reason, we have created a space that embraces this journey with beauty, calm, and care. We offer spacious private cabins with private bathrooms and showers, electricity at night, and small groups of no more than eight participants, allowing for an intimate, comfortable, and deeply personal experience. Our intention is for each person to surrender to the process feeling safe, supported, and at peace.
The Shamans
We work in alignment with the ancient and traditional medicine of the Shipibo people, honoring their lineage, their knowledge, and their sacred relationship with the master plants. Each retreat is held in a small group setting so that every participant can receive close, individualized, and genuine attention.
Our shamans have devoted decades to this path of learning, discipline, and service. Their experience is expressed not only in ceremony, but also in the way they listen, observe, guide, and hold each participant’s process. They are guardians of ancestral wisdom, sharing their knowledge with humility, presence, and respect.
Together with our Shipibo maestras and maestros, we also offer medicinal plant remedies and other traditional supportive tools, such as Mapacho, whenever the process calls for them. Everything is carried out with deep reverence for the medicine and for the soul of every person who arrives in this place.
Activities
Although the retreat invites silence, rest, and introspection, the jungle also reveals itself as a great teacher. To be here is to remember that nature has its own language, its own intelligence, and its own way of healing.
We frequently offer boat rides to swim with pink river dolphins, observe birds in their natural habitat, and explore the Amazon through guided jungle walks. Each journey is an opportunity to open the senses, feel the living presence of the earth, and reconnect with the mystery of creation. It is not uncommon to see sloths in the trees, armadillos along the trail, or nocturnal monkeys accompanying your walk back to your cabin.
We are located within the protected area of Pacaya Samiria. Unlike other places where extensive paths must be cleared deep into the forest, we choose to preserve the jungle in its natural state. We believe that part of the medicine lies precisely in this: allowing nature to remain alive, free, and sacred. Here, every tree, every sound, every sunrise, and every silence becomes part of the healing journey.
We also offer Wi-Fi for those who need to stay connected with loved ones, although many discover upon arriving that the most important connection is the one that awakens within themselves.
We look forward to welcoming you soon, with open hearts, into this space created for healing, remembering, and blossoming.
With Light and Love 💕

December 30, 2016 at 9:07 amThis was a last minute enrollment into Flower of Life’s first group retreat and I’m definitely glad I took that leap of faith. Everything about the retreat was amazing and definitely life changing.
I was a tad cautious as the pictures on the website seemed too good to be true for an aya retreat but I can honestly say that the grounds are some of the most spectacular lodge I’ve ever been to you. The lodge sits deep within the Amazon 3 hours from Iquitos, Peru on a hill high above the Amazon Forest right next to the river. The individual huts are spacious, well furnished and the common areas are beautifully designed inside and outside with many exotic fruit trees and hiking trails around. The staff is incredible and the food is outstanding, especially for dieta!
The aya ceremonies are very personalised as the group is small. My retreat only had one other person therefore we got the full attention from the retreat founder, the facilitator and shamans of which there were two. Lino was a local shaman from the nearly village who works with tobacco and local plant medicine and he provided cleansing and consultation with his light drinkable remedies. Maestro Juanita from the traditional Shipibo was the head Maestro who had mastery over the aya medicine. Although she is quiet and didn’t speak much English, her healing was extremely powerful. Her icaros pierce the night sky and guided my journeys from the darkness through the light. In all, there were 4 ceremonies which was a good amount to really build up the aya in the body. The final ceremony was indescribable as my mind was unleashed from the confines from reality and opened to the universe. I’ve done another aya retreat two years ago which was great but Flower of Life was on another level. The feedback was Juanita was really inspiring as she really did explain what she saw and felt during the healingss and what she did to help each person cleanse their body and spirit. Juanita’s serenity, wisdom and power is inspirational.
The medicine taught me what I needed to learn and showed me what I needed to see. I’m not sure when/if I’ll ever revisit the spirt of aya but nevertheless I’ll always cherish my time at Flower of Life along with the caring facilitators. The retreat is truly magical along with unique experiences such as swimming in the Amazon with pink dolphins, viewing sloths climbing above the forest, awakening to the melodic songs of hundreds of tropical birds and eating sweet fruit picked directly from the forest.
