The Eagle Condor Alliance offers 10 Day Sacred Medicine Retreats in the mountains outside of Medellin, Colombia. Our next retreat dates are June 23rd – July 2nd.
Participants stay in comfortable glamping, camping, and shared cabin accommodations while experiencing traditional Ayahuasca (Yagé), San Pedro Cactus, Peyote and Temazcal (Inipi) ceremonies.
At Eagle Condor Alliance, our central mission is to spread consciousness, awareness and love by being the bridge between our participants and the ancient traditions and sacred medicines of the Americas. We are ultimately concerned with supporting the elders of these traditions and with conserving the forests of Colombia where these medicines, traditions, and wisdoms are found.
Healing With All of the Sacred Medicines
We offer the sacred plants of the Americas in one powerful and rejuvenating 10 day retreat. Ayahuasca, San Pedro, and Lakota Sioux inipi (sweat lodge) ceremonies each have their own unique spirit, tradition, and way of showing us to ourselves. We believe that using these plants together in guided contexts creates the most profound and curative spiritual experience.
Intensive Plant Medicine Immersion Experience
The demanding itinerary of ECA retreats requires that participants approach the medicine with respect, reverence and strength. These medicines lead us to confront both the beauty and darkness in each of us, and will power is needed to maintain consistent focus on our transformative internal process during the retreat.
Our Commitment to the Individual
Each participant comes with his or her own past experiences, health concerns, goals, ambitions, medical history, and intentions for the retreat. At ECA, we have small retreat groups. The group is cared for by 3 group facilitators and 2 experienced healers who are committed to creating bonds of trust and compassion that form the foundation for the healing processes of participants.
Experienced Healers and The Purest Medicine
ECA’s healers have been finding, harvesting, and preparing their own medicines to the benefit of their respective communities for over 40 years. They offer these gifts from Mother Earth in their purest forms. ECA’s medicines are never altered or mixed with other substances or plants. They are provided with respect and love in traditional ceremonies from the Cofán community of the Amazon, the Lakota-Sioux of North America, and the traditional Andean peoples.
The Setting – Colombia’s Natural Beauty
The retreat centre is located at an altitude of 2300m surrounded by dense Andean sub tropical rain forest, spectacular views of the valley, pristine drinking water, your own private river, hiking, wildlife, and comfortable glamping and camping options
Comfort and Rejuvenation
Comfort is a crucial element in this reviving and re-energizing experience, and it’s typically forgotten by most other retreat centers. Participants at ECA retreats: sleep in comfortable, soft beds, take hot showers, eat delicious, healthy cuisine, drink fresh mountain water, walk outside without being devoured by insects, and are given ample alone time for reflection and self-examination. The mild climate also helps us rest.
Convenience and Price
Fly direct into Medellin’s international airport for a fraction of what it costs to get to Cusco, Leticia, Iquitos or other locations, and arrive at the retreat center in under 30 minutes via our private transport. No special vaccinations or injections required. We provide all food, housing, and on the ground transport in order to make our retreat relaxing and hassle free.

February 18, 2020 at 10:44 amIncredibly potent retreat. Beautiful land. Very powerful medicine and traditions. Wonderful people.
I was greeted by Mark at the airport, who ended up sharing his home with me throughout my stay at ECA. A kind and hospitable man; his wise words, wonderful humor, and guidance aided me in navigating the sometimes murky waters of this sort of inner work. He kept the house lit with comforting wood fire, served me up tea and fried sugar plantain. Great dude!
The food throughout the stay was excellent. The cooks knew exactly what to prepare for this sort of experience. Delicious fish and high protein meals before Yage’ ceremonies. Fruit, salad, and nourishing soups post-ceremony. Very well done. And they genuinely took joy in feeding and nourishing us with wonderful meals. Cooking can be done as an act of love, great food is itself a medicine.
The facilitators were kind, knowledgeable, no-nonsense guys; communicating via the heart. During a particularly rough portion of the retreat Bobby reassured me that the things that were happening were indeed very good, and were evident of the effectiveness of what I seemed to be going through. Jesse helped me to really crack into the core of what I was experiencing, and reminded me to trust the process. The affirmation of trust and acceptance being quite pivotal.
Much happened over the stay, purging on all levels. The facilitators, staff, and were all quite soft and accepting; they maneuver the work with warmth and grace. It is a blessing to have such a space, with such people, in which to practice this sort of heavy inner work.
There I was puking, crapping, cursing, exorcising demons; and they were hugging me, keeping me wrapped in soft warm blankets, and turning my attention to the love they all live and share. I am grateful for ECA for providing such comfort and acceptance while navigating such vulnerable processes.
Their traditions are beautiful, they strike me as quite old and powerful. Mostly beyond my comprehension, all I know is that I respect what they are doing and know it to be a great service to the world.
Potent ceremonies. Ancient medicine. Life really is a gift. Me gusto!
I’ll be going back there for sure.

September 17, 2019 at 11:31 amNear Perfect, is a good Title as well as the star rating.
My Experience has been a lot of ups and downs but overall an amazing Experience. I’am glad that i did it with my 23 years of age. I can only recommend this retreat to everyone and if you still have worries or doubts. Don’t worry, be happy and go 🙂
As you properly know, its not the best to go into a retreat like this with a goal which you want to have fixed or achieve no matter what. Of course, you can try to lead the energy towards that as good as possible but instead i would recommend to just see what the sacred medicine can do for you. It will show you the light 🙂 Go in with a open heart and a open midn
It’s really a family here and the worth can’t be compared with the amount you pay.
All the best. Spread love and listen to you hear. All the best to all of you.
Love

September 11, 2019 at 4:16 pmIt’s been a Month and a half since I finished my 10 day retreat at Eagle Condor Alliance. I remember very well my first impression. Bobby picked me up at the Airport and we went straight to the retreat. When we got there I was stunned by the beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Bobby, Jesse and all the ECA family made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. This made me feel relaxed and peaceful immediately. In my opinion It’s important to feel these good vibes when working deep within yourself.
It’s my first time taking any of these medicines and what I can say is, WOW, life changing. I don’t want to go into anything of what I experienced because everyone has different experiences and I can’t use words to describe them either.
1.5 months later, I can say that these sacred medicines has helped me a lot. They are helping me today. Changes I’ve seen in my life on a deeper level is many. I feel more grateful to the world and life itself. I feel I have a purpose in my life and I have the strength and discipline to realize it. I feel I have more self love and self acceptance. I feel more patient, joyful. I feel more happy.
I want to make one thing clear. Don’t expect the medicine to do all the work for you. What is most important is that YOU make a genuine effort, so you get the most out of the experience.
Thank you ECA, for this great and beautiful experience. Aho mitakuye oyasin!

September 3, 2019 at 7:06 amQuite simply, ECA will provide you with a genuine, well coordinated and considered experience, facilitated with great compassion, in an environment which is highly conducive to healing. This was my first experience with plant medicines and I was very uncertain of what to expect, yet I intuited that ECA would provide the right experience for me and they definitely did. ECA practice exactly what they claim to do. The hosts’ reverence for the medicine, traditions and each participant’s individual journey is very apparent and tangible. It inspired a depth of gratitude which I’m not sure I’ve ever experienced before. Not having any prior exposure to or knowledge of the greater beliefs and traditions surrounding the medicine, or not necessarily sharing in those beliefs, is no barrier to benefiting from the observation of or participation in their practice. Just being welcomed into and witness to the ceremonies generates a great sense of respect and appreciation for the essential things in life. The maloka is thoughtfully and purposefully constructed and a comfortable space to be in.
There is no stifling dogmatism, disciplinary codes or touristic affectations. Your only obligation is to be true in your intent, respectful of those around you and open to accepting what the medicine chooses to bring you. The ECA team work with great commitment to provide a very safe, supportive and comfortable environment to assist you to do so. Based on my experience, I believe their intent is true and their greater vision is worth supporting by participating in their retreats. Many thanks guys for all that you’ve done, all that you’re doing and all that you will do.

August 23, 2019 at 12:41 amI attended the ECA retreat back in June and I’ve only really been ready to write this review now. The experience was so profound for me that it’s taken a good couple of months to process and Its only now starting to really settle into place.
The memories, love and care I received at ECA will be ingrained into my heart forever. I arrived feeling broken hearted, exhausted and generally jaded. The 10 days which followed slowly breathed a new and beautiful life into me.
There is grace and dignity poured into every aspect of this retreat. The boys – Bobby, Jesse and Hans guided and gently steered us as a group and individuals with care and love. Every single word, movement, gesture, ceremony and ritual is carried out with a beautiful reverence I have never before experienced.
I will return at some point again. But until then the work, medicine and experience will stay in my heart and keep feeding my soul. Thank you my ECA family xxx
