Bird Song Visions (formerly Sangha House)

Maine, United States

Our mission is to be of service to love, ending all wars with self, other selves & the Earth Herself through full celebration & co-creation with the Spirit of Joy, Truth & Integrity.

We are invoking heaven to earth through our practice & embodiment of Unconditional Love.

We are a legal and official CHURCH.

Birdsong Visions Sanctuary is a federally recognized church, as a 508c1a

This means that ALL of BSV spiritual leaders and members have FULL rights and protection of the First Amendment of The Constitution of the United States of America to practice our sacred indigenous religion of inner healing, working with the plants, mediumship, and the practice of spiritual sovereignty.

Any and all information here may NEVER be used to discriminate, prosecute, or ostracize any of our leaders, members, or activities, based on the rights and privileges of the First Amendment.

We practice “the oldest religion” The Earth Way, which permits all of our members to:

  1. Choose their own way of praying with the divine. All forms of prayer are permitted as long as it does no physical, mental, emotional or cultural harm to self, others any living creature, or the Planet Herself.
  2. Choose their own way of nourishing and caring for their body. We encourage all members to have a sound team of advisors to make decisions for themselves and their family. We invite all members to make the best natural, non harmful,  decisions, with guidance from Spirit/Creator/Life. We actively practice that all members are be able to follow their conscience and may refuse to participate in any suggested guidance in regards to their body’s health, without penalty.
  3. Choose their own way of living with the land. Meaning they can live in a home, or in deeper relationship with the land as we do at Birdsong. We encourage a deep connection with the Earth, as we know ourselves as ONE with nature. We are nature, and it is our highest and deepest truth to spread the message of “All Beings are One Being” and the way we discover this truth is through the experience of it, in time in nature.

The team at Sangha house created such a safe and special container for personal and spiritual growth. It was amazing to experience and witness how much healing can happen and how deep bonds can grow in such a short span of time.

It was a beautiful and perfect weekend and I got everything out of it that I had hoped for and much much more.

Krysta’s dosing was perfect and her voice carried me through the experience.

I felt safe and supported through the entire weekend and would recommend Sangha house to anyone.

As a transgender person, I was living with deeply rooted aspects of pain and suffering that I assumed would remain buried despite my best attempts to uncover and heal them. During my self navigated spiritual path to remedy these wounds I was called to ayahuasca. I noticed that Sangha House was in Maine, a place that already holds a special place in my heart, and decided it was the perfect setting to pursue my journey. The wonderful reviews on here confirmed my decision.

The Land was beautiful. The tent area was mowed and sprayed for ticks, the fire pit providing warmth for all of us during the cold Maine evenings. The landowner Elk made beautifully handmade outhouses with very apparent love and attention to detail. They were filled with all necessary supplies to keep us clean and safe. Max, a joyful pleasure of a man had delicious meals ready for us every time our ceremonies came to an end. These were complete with clean dishes and silverware, hot water, soups, rice, fruit, baked goods, nuts, smoothies, etc. As we were camping outdoors in tents, his tender provisions brought us so much contentment and convenience.

My journey was not easy. The medicine was very harsh in its effects on me the first night. There was a major loss of control as the deepest and darkest parts of myself made themselves known. One of the facilitators named Mitch stayed with me for the entirety of a very exhausting, violent, emotional and physical experience of pure agony. For him to bear that weight in a place of such dignity and patience is the definition of true selflessness. To provide a safe space for me to contend with my demons in the most vulnerable and raw manner imaginable. I am forever grateful to Mitch.

This journey was full of these moments of pure and intentional service, care and healing from the facilitators. The precious and intimate love that was felt between every member of this retreat will live on in my heart forever. Krysta’s incredible voice and guidance, Freddy’s gentle wisdom and power, Nicole’s maternal devotion to others, Teja’s infectious playful spirit, I wish I had a hundred pages to shed light on each intricate detail of exquisite beauty that every person presented me with. They are all so special.

My final ceremony at Sangha ended with what I can only define as a divine awakening. Each facilitator and attendee came together to carry me home. They acknowledged the grief and heartache that was encompassing my soul in a way I didn’t think anyone could. They held it, and they held me. Together they helped deliver the profound essence of my human suffering. Each and every face of my new family surrounded me as I gazed upon a blanket of stars stretching to infinity, breathing in the delicate newness of freedom. Megan, you gave me life. You are my soul.

I recommend Sangha House to anyone seeking a pathway to their higher selves. They changed my life this weekend.

This trip forever changed me in the best way. Gave me exactly what i needed and have been searching for. It was extremely challenging to walk through but with the help of the wonderful people i met and the amazing assistants the coordinators gave was so inspiring. This medicine is truly sacred and if it is calling to you please answer. Cant wait to see what more souls these people touch and help through the years. So much gratitude.

This was by far the deepest, most fun, and most inspiring experience I’ve ever had with ceremony. I would gladly do it again, and I plan to.

A close friend of mine recommended Krysta and The Sangha House for my first Ayahuasca retreat. It was perfect! The sacred container she and her team created was an amazing space of Trust, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves into the medicine. The music during ceremony was nothing short of divine – this alone was worth the price of admission! I can’t recommend them enough for this kind of work!
