A small retreat center focused on individual healing plant medicine process in groups of no more than 10 participants at a time. We are located in the famous Sacred Valley of the Incas in a remote Andean village. We offer 4, 6 and 11 Day Retreats, all with the option to extend your stay for more time resting or deeper cleansing. The retreat healings plants and therapies include Ayahuasca, Yopo, San Pedro, Kambo and Temazcal (Sweat Lodge).

Our purpose is to create a ripple effect in the consciousness of humanity through work with sacred plant medicines of Peru and healing techniques we have chosen, through our own positive experiences, and believe compliment the process of plant medicines. We are here to help bring about a new earth, but first we must help heal the traumas of the past.

We first must begin healing the individual, but in a gentle process. Each participants process is considered on an individual basis and what the shaman and healers feel would be best suited to the healing they would like to accomplish. There is space to explore deeper and daily consultations with the shaman after ceremony to begin to understand the messages of the plant medicine and have a focus for the next ceremony.

The longer the retreat, the deeper the healing. All of our programs are intensive, however there is space to take your time in the healing process through extending your retreat or opting to take less or no medicine. We guide participants only to where they feel comfortable or ready for. The ceremonies are practiced in a sacred context with Icaros (medicine songs) and sacred instruments. Each ceremony has assistants to help care for each person and anything they need.

Our respect and love for the Pachamama or Mother Earth knows no bounds. At the center we are reducing, reusing and recycling all that we can. We ask you to be conscious of your footprint and when you come to Peru, to leave no trace. Plastics and packaging are problem here and we do not have the infrastructure to consolidate and recycle these types of products. For this reason we have bought and use the best water filters available here in Peru and ask you bring a reusable water bottle.

While we are working on building our center in the jungle, to grow ayahuasca, bananas, cacao and other sacred medicinal plants, for the moment we are continuing to practice in the Andes, as we always have and will. Many people are drawn to the jungle for her source of ayahuasca vine, however others want to experience the kind and friendly faces of the Andes and the sacred surroundings. It is called the Sacred Valley because it is sacred, the plants and crops here grow freely to give us all that we need in abundance. Where else is there are fruit trees, Incan corn and cactus all growing in the same area?

During your time at the retreat you will have everything you need for a comfortable stay with all modern necessities. We provide everything, you need only to bring yourself and a few pairs of warmer clothes. In the Andes, we can experience all four seasons in one day, but tend to have cold nights and warm days. There are Incan ruins above the center and plenty of hiking trails around, so comfortable clothes and good shoes are a must.

With our hearts we are bringing every person into the healing power of the sacred medicinal plants of Peru through ceremony.

HI Ricardo,

Once again, we would like to apologize for the hot showers not being up to your standards upon arrival. This from the very depths of our beings, we were sorry for and I boiled you water for a hot bath because I was so sorry and felt responsible. We have tried our best to fix this issue between us in a peaceful and resonable way. Originally, we had solar showers installed. We were not able to foresee, their not being up to guests standards as they only worked during the day after a few hours of sunshine. When we realized this, we went and bought a new instant gas powered hot shower heater. Now, anyone can take a hot shower, any time of day. If anyone is concerned we might not have hot showers, I am happy to talk about this over the phone.

Our location is secluded, but not far from a medical center. Should there be any emergency we have cars and are a 15 minute drive from the medical center.

Juanita, would not appreciate being called an old lady, as she is only in her thirties. She is a busy body, and sometimes I have to ask her to slow down. This is her natural way. As part of our family, we make sure Juanita is taken care of and so is her family. Her husband also works for us. Her custom of washing very dirty things in the river and then putting them in the laundry is ok with us! She does an amazing job and our gratitude for her job is endless and unwavering.

As a healing center, we practice a traditional dieta. This involves intermittent fasting, which we talk about on the first nights introduction to the retreat, that only the first day of ayahuasca ceremony we serve breakfast and then you fast until the ceremony. Anyone who has trouble fasting may have fruits.

If you leave your door open during the day, you may get flies in your room. It is lucky to see an Andean spider while here, but not likely.

The beds are a year and a couple months old. If you like a more cushioned mattress, we have mattress toppers.

I choose to chew on Coca leaves recently, instead of drinking coffee. For me it is a better alternative at the moment. Also, culturally normal here in Peru.

Getting off pain medications, to help heal yourself, is a courageous step and often a painful and difficult process. We (myself, Pacco, volunteers, yoga teachers and Juanita) are here to make everyone’s stay as comfortable as possible, and we did everything within our power to help you.

Suggestions we have received to improve the new retreat with some little tweaks are being put into motion this week before the new retreat begins.

Thank you for your feedback and we wish you the best!

HI Ricardo,

This is Chrissy. We are deeply sorry for the discontent you now feel.

Ricardo speculates we have given our daughter ayahuasca because we told the story of how we brought her to the jungle when she was five months old for a “baptism”. What he selectively did not hear is – what plants we washed her with. She was being blessed/protected into an open-minded culture of love and plant healing with the Shipibo Indians of Peru… There are plenty of people young and old, who practice in ayahuasca ceremonies, Santo Daime, Shipibo-Conibos, Ashaninkas, Machigengas and so many tribes up and down the amazon river in the vast continent of South America. When, what, how, why, they take the medicine is between their tribe and family.

When you were here you said you had never felt so much love in your life and were filled with gratitude for the work we do. You even asked for our address to send gifts. Since your retreat, we have continued to happily do our work and the other guests have felt the healing and love we put into our retreats.

To me, it is unnecessary to get into personal details on a public website. For everyone reading this: It is important to understand what you should and should not expect during and after retreats. We are not psychologists or therapists, but plant medicine healers. However, I am happy to help you find an integration specialist and/or psychologist in San Francisco.

We have always been a safe haven for participants who identify as gay and will continue to be.

Our best wishes,
Chrissy, Pacco and Liana
