Sol Nueva Aurora

Our institute is based on Ayahuasca ceremonies as the main focus of healing and knowledge, although we also use other traditional indigenous medicines such as the Kambô of the Amazon, Grandfather Tobacco or the Temazcal sweat tent. We dive deep into the knowledge of traditional medicines of our ancestors, which helps the human being to heal, rise and understand itself.

Our Institute works hard as one big family for each participant to reach supra-consciousness, to understand their role in humanity and live a freer and more compassionate life. We call for the release of all types of slavery, whether mental, physical or spiritual. Over 1600 people have passed through our Institute now and we feel rewarded after each ceremony, when we see their happiness, harmony and the great advances they make on the path of Being, transcending the socio-cultural fondness for Having.

Our reason for being ” Shamanic” is the inspiration to constantly transcend our fears and awaken ourselves as medicine men and women.

The reason for being “Spiritual” is the accepted journey of overcoming human conditioning.

The reason why we are an “Institute” is the individual’s progression in self-knowledge through drinking Ayahuasca.

My first Ayahuasca experience was in June 2013 – Since then, I try to practice (1 time per month atleast) and learn more about this wonderfull thing.
I could only advise people to try it to discover themselves.
Ayahuasca was for me the most terrible and the most beautiful experience in the same time, a way to learn about my fears, the mistakes I made in my life, and a way to make peace with some elements of my past.
Mother Ayahuasca helped me to discovered the power of our Universe. With Ayahuasca, you will finally feel connected to the spirits who surround us.
I’m really happy that we met Santo, which is a great shaman – the ayahuasca foundation here in Uruguay is more like a big family, you can feel the love in the air.
    Luz Fuerza y Amor
    Gracias a todos,
    Gracias Mother Ayahuasca.

My first, my only but not my last experience with ayahuasca took place on December 31, 2013, in a ceremony in Salto to celebrate the new year. I arrived from Spain a month before, having never heard of ayahuasca. After talking with some friends here in Uruguay on the subject, I had no hesitation in deciding that it was something I had to experience.

I tried not to form expectations before trying, one cannot get an idea of what is going to happen in that moment until it is lived. And so it was. The ceremony was magical, amazing, wonderful, extraordinary. It was nice to share that experience with other people, creating a world where minds traveled light years from each other. Personally, the outcome was more than positive, happiness came alone, without effort or sacrifice. The sunrise of a new year brought a life lesson that without a doubt I want to repeat.

Hello , I am writing because I am extremely grateful and I want to share my experience with Sol Nueva Aurora.

I’m living in Montevideo, Uruguay, a cute and friendly capital. There I got to know Sol Nueva Aurora. I went to see what it was all about, first. I got to know Santos, a very easily accessible shaman. Sometimes we have the image of a shaman as an almost sanctified person, but really Santos is very loving, very nice and down to earth. After talking a while, me and my girlfriend decided to drink Ayahuasca.

Why drink Ayahuasca? Because we were both in a psychological and spiritual search.

What happened to us? Well, we found, after so much searching on the outside, we found on the inside, thanks to the wisdom of the Grandmother Ayahuasca.

We have participated in two ceremonies and will soon assist in a third, as more and more understanding is growing in us as the days go by.

In both ceremonies we felt very good, with lots of protection and assistance by Santos and those who are part of Sol Nueva Aurora. One of the key aspects for this is that at no time they wanted to impose political, philosophical or religious ideas. Ayahuasca helps us to understand, recognise and work on many important things to be better humans. That’s why I think anyone who feels the need to look beyond, should try Ayahuasca. It is a unique experience in life, it’s a rebirth. There is a before and after when talking about Ayahuasca. Every experience with the plant is very personal, so it is not very important to put out everything I have seen and felt here. Only the satisfaction remains and the challenge of continuing to live a life intensely in the path of Love now. Thanks Sol Nueva Aurora, thanks Santos, thanks Grandmother Ayahuasca.

    Hello everybody!
I would like to share my experience with “la abuela” ayahuasca in Sol Nueva Aurora.
Personally, it was a the best experience of selfknowledge i ever had, so peaceful and really a teaching experience.
The ambience of the ceremony was really special and gives the sense of beeing out of this world, i always says that ayahuasca experience is really personal and even if you heard things that can happend to you, my advice is to go with your heart and mind OPEN!
My experience with ayahuasca was full of love. The Institute gave also a sense of safety, because of the Chaman and all the people that work with him…. I can’t say that Ayahuasca is the answer, but i can say that if you are trying to find a different perspective of life, Ayahuasca is the medicine.

    Luz, Fuerza y Amor.
