I’ve been battling addiction for 30 years and I’ve never believed anyone should have to live their life waking up going to war with their addiction or counting their days of sobriety. My mother passed away a year ago and recently guided me to Rite of Passage. When I tell you there are no words for how these beautiful people changed my life, I mean it. In anything in life it’s not necessarily where you go but who your with that creates and shapes your experience. “Show me your friends, I’ll show you your future” – said someone. I knew from the moment I spoke with Luis on the phone he had a gentle and beautiful energy, but I could have never imagined how every person at ROP would have such a profound effect on my life. Each and every one having such an important and significant role throughout the whole process. They all compliment each other and fit as perfectly as the stones of a pyramid do. It is not accidental that they found each other and it was not accidental my mother guided me there. They all literally have such a meaningful and powerful role they play in the healing process. I trust Luis and Edith with my life, with my heart and with every ounce of my soul. Paulet, Areli and Victoria are saints. I was not an easy case and they are there day in and day out taking care of you, gently pushing you, loving you and supporting you, whatever that means in each individual’s process. Then there’s Mike! Each day you are surprised with the healthy and delicious creations Mike comes up with which made every meal exciting. The man is a genius in the kitchen. His role not only as your amazing personal chef but his energy he adds to the team is as equally important. I’ve never felt so loved, so accepted, so free from judgement and so at ease even in my addiction and all my chaos as I have with EVERYONE at ROP. They are forever a part of my life and I am forever grateful from the bottom of my heart to them and the medicines. Plant medicine is not for everyone but if you are someone it calls to there is not a single other place I would ever go or recommend other then ROP. The protocol Luis and Edith have developed and implemented works. Their experience, their compassion and the respect they have for the medicines is what makes them true healers.

I am so grateful that I made the decision to participate in the 2 week treatment program at Rite of Passage. Very grateful for Luis, Edith, nurses Paula, Denise and Vicki and the amazing chef Mike! As a female Canadian traveling to Mexico solo and strung out on cocaine and booze I was nervous to say the least. A driver picked me up at airport and brought me directly to the treatment center. As a nurse and someone conditioned to western medicine I also was somewhat skeptical of the plant medicines but willing to try to get my life and sanity back. I am forever grateful for the healing that occurred and my journeys with Papa Iboga and Grandma Ayahuasca. Grief and trauma that I had forgotten about because I buried so deep came up and is now resolved. I have not had one single craving to drink or use drugs since leaving and returning home. Luis & Edith provided me with the tools that I need to implement at home to stay sane and sober and now I am on the right path. I have my daughter & mother back in my life, I am grateful to be alive and enjoy life now. Before treatment I didn’t eat and when I did I binged on take out and unhealthy foods. After Chef Mike introduced me to healthy foods and a delicious menu I have also continued eating clean and attempting some of his recipes at home. As a result I feel healthy, look healthy, my skin and eyes are clear and I have energy. Good normal energy no stimulants needed! Luis, Edith and team were with me every step of the way and still support my recovery from afar. During my Ayahuasca ceremony I experienced them and Nurse Paula filling my soul back up with love and positivity. If I had not made the decision to go to Rite of Passage I would likely be dead from an overdose or a successful suicide attempt. I am forever grateful for my experience, my sobriety, the relief from trauma, depression & anxiety & my new life!

Life changing! I want to thank Luis for introducing me to this new way of life. Struggling for years with addiction, no joy in life, family and friends wanted nothing to do with me and I was barely existing through life in a dark dark place. When I had the opportunity to travel to ROP I was done with life and honestly was just looking for some temporary relief because in my mind this was going to be how I died. Little did I know..The overwhelming transformation I experienced is far beyond what I could have ever fathomed and so deep it is at times hard to put into words. I also struggled with deep rooted depression since 12yo and had tried everything for a solution, nothing ever worked. The way in which ibogaine and ayahuasca completed broke the chains of all of this and showed me a different view of life is completely amazing. Not only did this set me off on a completely different path and a new way of life but its broken the barriers in so many aspects of my life. On another note..
I read the review/false disgusting comment above. Being that I am one of the people he refers to as a “gangster kid” I will fill you in on some real first hand facts and after that won’t be addressing the sad individual any further. I normally wouldn’t even respond to this but i know Luis is too kind and too humble of a man to do so. This guy Dylan was had been granted two stays for a discounted rate and due to his attitude and his will to change and take responsibility for his life after 2 full treatments did not make the best of it to say the least, so to use the word stole is a false and can only assume like when I met him has still not taken any responsibility in his life. ROP had the most amazing detox process and protocol in place to prepare for plant medicine. Dylan (40+ yo) behaved like an absolute child, disrespected staff, refused time and time again to complete his detox and preparation protocol, walked off property several times to eat food forbidden when detoxing and smoke cigarettes behind staffs back and the list could go on. Treated everyone there like trash. Truly a sad individual. At no point were there kids running around or fighting going on. Also a complete lie. All I have left to say with this individual is I wish you well and if you put half the energy into transforming your life and taking responsibility for yourself as you did into writing false and slanderous statements about a place who tried their best to do everything they could for you, then you will experience an amazing life. Much Love -Ian

Go somewhere else, Luis stole $13k from a good friend and we have been trying to get our money back from him. He is a thief and liar and gives mexican people a bad name. Not to mention making ibogaine look bad,

He is a terrible person and is in it for the wrong reason. He is violent and dangerous. He yelled at his wife all night when my friend was on his ibogaine journey, we will not stop posting reviews about him and his shady clinic until its paid in full.

Food was made by a 20 yo kid and cooked like he was 12 yo, yelled at my friend when he complained of pain. Luis promised pain free detox, he lies to get your money.

There were 4 kids running around yelling all day, Luis had some gangster kids playing rap music and starting fights with dylan and luis did not stop them, he is a gangster and is a bad person, he has a huge ego and also we heard he has been shut down and had to move 3 x, the police are after him.

He has 72 hours to call Dylan an refund all the money, or we will have the cops go to his house.
