Healing with ayahuasca.

Life struggle is something that none of us can avoid. It is a part of the human experience. No matter how strong, successful or wealthy you are, there will come a point in your life that you will find yourself in a weakened and painful state. We suffer from addictions, a broken heart, the loss of loved ones, Lack of purpose and can end up feeling depressed and disconnected from ourselves and others. We feel overwhelmed and are no longer able to process and let go of the things that prevent us from enjoying the riches of life. But never forget that no matter what challenges and struggles you find yourself in, your power to overcome them is the measurement of your strength. They are opportunities to grow, deepen your spiritual practice and connect with yourself on a more profound level. Ayahuasca has, for many, relieved symptoms of trauma and other pain, opened up new directions in life and helped people to get a new perspective on their day-to-day crises.

The Ayahuasca brew has its origin in the South American rainforests of the Amazon and has been used for thousands of years by indigenous shamans and healers to help the people in their tribe. The sacred Ayahuasca ceremonies connect the physical and spiritual realm, healing and serving the individual but also the community as a whole. Which is exactly what we hope to achieve one day, to create a community. A place where people can come to connect and be nurtured but also a place to contribute in different ways to bring blessings to others.
Mother’s house ceremonies.

Are you ready to experience Ayahuasca or have you participated in ceremony before and do you wish to meet the spirit of the mother again? Our experienced ceremony leaders and facilitators will provide you with a safe and genuinely caring environment where you can do your personal healing work. Mother’s house fundamental goal is to aid you on your path of personal transformation and healing with the help of the beautiful and sacred spirit of the Amazonian Ayahuasca brew that we love so dearly. It is a place where your comfort and care will be our first priority during every minute of your stay. We have a maximum of 12 participants for every retreat.
Our ceremony leaders serve traditional and pure Peruvian jungle medicine made with Ayahuasca vine and Chackruna leaf’s only, no other plants are added. Our ceremonies are accompanied by live music inspired by the Shipibo and Mestizo traditions and combine traditional Ikaro’s (medicine songs) with beautiful music played on guitar, drums, singings bowls and different other instruments.

Kambo.

For an additional cost we offer Kambo treatments during the retreat by our IAKP trained Kambo practitioner. Kambo is a secretion from the giant green monkey tree frog, known in science as the Phyllomedusa Bicolor. Kambo is a powerful detoxification tool first used by ancient Amazonian
Tribes. It works on many levels, but on the absolute surface level, it is used to
increase the body’s natural ability to heal itself by eliminating toxins through the lymphatic system and fortifying the immune system.

Our facilities.

Mother’s house retreats are hosted in a beautiful, luxurious and grand villa hidden in the Dutch countryside near the City of Weert. We offer a free pick-up service either from Eindhoven airport or Weert train station.
The retreat center is a perfect place to relax and rest between ceremonies with a large heated indoor swimming pool, lavish bathrooms, sauna, jacuzzi and twenty acres of gorgeous woodlands where you can take a mindful stroll and connect with nature. Our spa facilities will be accessible during the day for you to enjoy.
You will be sleeping outside of the ceremony space in a communal room in comfortable beds with soft linnen. For an additional cost there is also the option to rent a private room for one or two people if you would like a more private space during your stay.

Meals.

We serve fresh and healthy vegetarian food to support the cleansing process and keep your energy up during the retreat. If you would like to eat vegan, Gluten free or have any allergies or other dietary wishes please let us know in advance and we will happy to fulfil your wishes.

Safety

Based on recent scientific study’s it can be stated that the use of Ayahuasca is safe but, unfortunately, not suitable for everybody. The MAO-inhibitors in the brew are contra-indicated with certain medications and medical conditions and the psychoactive effects can impact certain mental and emotional health issues in a negative way. We strongly believe your decision to partake in ceremony should be based on a clear understanding of the potential risks and benefits in relation to your medical history, mental health, and general emotional condition. If you have any questions on this topic we are always available to answer them for you by email or telephone.
Mother’s house takes working with Ayahuasca very seriously and to make sure that everybody can safely participate in our ceremonies all of our guests will be sent a screening questionnaire during the registration process. Only after your screening has been approved will your booking be complete.

Preparation.
In order for you to get the most out of your retreat experience we will send you a preparation guide after your booking is complete. This educational guide contains information on things to be aware of like pre-ceremony diet, medication and supplement use, sexual abstinence and several other things we feel are important for you to know before your stay with us.
Integration.

Ceremony does not end when your retreat is over. The most important part will just begin, and that is integrating the lessons and insights that ayahuasca has given you in your daily life. Ayahuasca is not a quick fix that will solve all of your problems in one go. This powerful plant medicine will definitely help you on your way but in the end we ourselves have the final responsibility of making true changes to improve our lives. Our ceremony leaders and facilitators will always be there for you to support you in this process. We will provide you with our insights gained from our personal experiences in this area and provide more general information on how to navigate this sensitive part of your journey. Because nothing will change if we don’t actively seek to alter our own patterns of negative thought and behaviour. Healing takes a serious effort. And we will be happy to work with you far beyond the end of your retreat. This is part of our commitment and we would not have it any other way.
