In 2015 I contacted with them. They told me pay in advance. I paid $700. Later they said they cancel it. The men whom I was talking said Ibo Rao will sent you money back. But Ibo Rao told they will not sent me any money and that men should, but they split and he went into jungle… Later some of Ibo Rao sent me only 200 EURO.
    BE CAREFUL

I go regularly to Peru and take ayahuasca since 7 years now.
It was a great surprise for me to discover Ibo Rao, i’ve been there for 5 weeks the last oct/nov and it was just perfect.
Far from the business and tourism of ayahuasca in Iquitos, i discovered a complete Shipibo Conibo family of shamans, who were totally devoted for the medicine.
Actually it’s a rare opportunity to have ceremonies like that with at least 5 to 7 shamans in the maloca and to know that most of them are from the same family, so you can imagine the energy?
Maestra Justina is like a second mom for everybody there, so at the end it was a little bit hard for me to leave, but i’ll come back for sure?.

I spent 2 weeks in Ibo Rao a few months ago, when it was just opening. I volunteered and took medicine. I was an amazing experience. The chamans, all the family, and Benito, are really truthworthy, and I felt welcomed at once. During the ceremonies, you feel like you’re being looked after. Beautiful Icaros from maestra Justina, moreover!
Oh, and the location is great : far from the more turistic and busy places like San francisco or near Iquitos, it’s next to a small and beautiful village, quite unknown for the moment, and it has hot springs you should definitely go to!

I wanted to take medicine in an authentic place, I wasn’t disappointed!

I visited the centre in October 2014.

The shamans that work here are all in family. When I first met them it was in a village not really suited for this kind of journey I was going through. Benoit have created this amazing centre to hold a proper space for their mind-blowing healing power. It is a very good opportunity to get to work with these authentic shamans in a space that is capable of holding you while you go through your process.

I was few years ago in the first center where Ben the funder of Ibo Rao was running. It was an authentic experience with Shipibos shamans in deep pristine jungle. Ben is really kind and disposable for all the need we have. He is an intermediary between occidental and the shamans after so many years living with them in Peru. I had a really strong and beautiful experience in Ayahuasca ceremony which permit me to evolve positively and discover the spiritual world through the visions. Thank you Ben for this opportunity.

The place is really nice and beautiful. I plan to come again this year with my girlfriend. Ibo Rao is in good development and working authentically. I recommand this place.

I was in Ibo Rao in July 2014.
I spent there four days in total and I had two ceremonies.
The strongest and authentic experience I had with ayauhaska it was in Ibo Rao.
The Icaros of Maestra Augustina and the other chamans are really powerful and the environment around is magic. Contamana is not popular like Iquitos or San Francisco but it is really authentic place, with beautiful and sincere people.
definitely recommended! and thank you again Benito for the wonderful opportunity you gave me to know the holy plant.

The good place, the good people. A center of medicine and serious apprenticeship, without compromise and the development potential of which is really extraordinary. It is in the measure of the three generations of maestros’ family which manages ceremonies there and which supervises the diets. In the measure also of this plot of land of extremely rich and diversified forest, at the same time isolated and approachable: as magic as practical. More than a center, it is a real native Shipibo community that forms slowly at Ibo Rao, with all that it contains of rich and authentic exchanges. Let alone the energy, the experience, the availability and the worship of Benoit, the founder of the center and the carrier of the real sustainable vision, intermediary’s role of which fluidifies perfectly the relations with the maestros on one hand but also with oneself in the deep work of this Medicine. In brief, not an address furthermore on the list but the Address, simply.
