We are an ethical, non profit ayahuasca retreat center, based in the Sacred Valley, Peru. Our passion is helping humanity heal and giving back to Mother Earth from which we come. We only work with healers who come from a long tradition of shamanism. Our core group of healers are of the Shipibo lineage, the oldest known lineage of the medicine. The Shipibo have been working with Mother Ayahuasca for centuries forming an unbelievable bond with the plants and spirits of the Amazon Rain Forest . Having honed the skills of their ancestors, their healing is truly profound. The Shipibos are masterful healers indeed, but they are not the only ones. We will also be hosting special retreats with healers from all over the globe bringing their ancestral medicine giving you the opportunity to experience the healing of the world.

If you’re seeking a warm, intimate container to journey aya look no further! This was my first time with aya and I was a bit nervous but felt so supported and held at this retreat! You really do feel like family! Getting to know everyone at the retreat and those who help support the retreat was so lovely. By far my favorite was the music played during the journeys – it really puts an added touch of going deeper with the medicine! Let’s just say I’ll be back for another week with the Anahata family!

    Medicine For The Soul
I’ve been back home for some days now, just sitting in my own space with close ones, feeling the enormous gratitude and love for the experience I’ve had at Anahata. It’s so grand, that I do find it quite difficult to put it into our somewhat limiting language. But I can say that my quote after the last ceremony was “This was the best night of my life”, and I am forever grateful that I chose to have my first experience at Anahata. To trail and boil it down to a couple of points:

    1. The people (become your family).
Michael, the founder, is the very embodiment of love and wisdom, and the effort he has put into making this the best possible retreat really shines through. It’s all about healing and getting people on the right track. And going through all this together, with nothing but love for each other, creates deep bonds – just within a week! Together with all the different facilitators of each ceremony/activity, the musicians, his wife Sami, and last but not least – the other guests; it honestly feels like family, and that to me is the perfect container for going through these new experiences.

    2. Safe space
When doing something that is so beyond normal, I believe it’s important to not only come down, take a ceremony, and go back to your busy life. But to truly soak in everything that surrounds the medicine as well. Anahata has created a space where you can truly feel at ease. A home away from home.

    3. Total package
It’s not just about the Ayahuasca, but everything around it as well. They offer a total package including sweat lodge, Kambo, Huachuma, yoga, and meditation – as well as connection, guidance, prayers, wisdom, and sharing it all. I was so pleasantly surprised about all that I learned from every single thing.

My notebook full of gems; my body cleaned; my mind at ease; and my soul forever happy. Thank you again! <3

I sincerely believe that there is no better place for a retreat. This wasn’t my first experience with Ayahuasca, I have already had several ceremonies before, so I can compare different experiences. The ceremonies in Anahata are the most powerful, sincere, full and comfortable, filled with love, of all that I have seen.
The center itself is located in a picturesque place, at the bottom of the Incas Temple of the Sun. In the center there are a lot of small details that allow you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the culture of the Peruvian Andes. You feel complete freedom, the rooms are very comfortable and bright, the food you get is very tasty.

One of the most important elements in Ayahuasca ceremonies is how comfortable the venue itself is. Anahata exceeded all my expectations. The space is beautiful, beds are so soft and comfortable, pillows under the head are provided for both sitting and lying, which is super convenient during the ceremony. You also get a set of the most necessary things, it is very convenient, especially if you are coming to Ayahuasca for the first time and do not know what you will need. The Anahata team made sure you have everything you need! Such little things really make you feel that you are taken care of and these people do everything from the heart.

Ceremonies are held in small groups, no more than 6 people, this allows you to dive deeper into your own journey. But besides this, the Maestro also works individually with each participant in the ceremony.

But these are all just details and nothing compared to the intention with which you are met by wonderful people in Anahata. In Anahata you are met as a family, as a very important and unique person, you receive attention and care from all sides.

Returning to the details of the retreat, I want to note the comprehensive experience that you get. And the most important thing is that you feel completely safe. The maestro who work with Michael are great, you don’t need to speak the same language with them in order for them to understand you. I have no words to describe how strong and deep their work is, you feel that the maestro very accurately feels and understands exactly what you need at the moment and directs his Icaros to this very point. Their Icaros are so strong, I felt it from the very first minute.

Another important part is the preparation for the ceremonies that Michael leads, like a breathwork and Rape, also how he holds the space during the ceremony, as well as the integration after the ceremonies. Integrations are probably one of my favorite parts! This is so important and fundamental that it is difficult to overestimate. I also want to note the fun and relaxed atmosphere in the group, we laughed a lot and just enjoyed the moment. You are offered warm tea, delicious fruits and a conversation about what happened, it’s wonderful and very useful, you feel supported and you can always count on help and advice.

I couldn’t know before that there is such a beautiful and soulful music exists!
Their voices and songs are so beautiful and deep that I have no words to convey it, it needs to be heard. They sing and touch the deepest places of your soul.

In Anahata, you feel that you are finding a home in a deep sense, you feel a connection with Mother Earth and great gratitude to Universe. The experience gained in Anahata is very deep and transforms you for the better. You feel the miracle of life, the miracle of being here and now, every minute is a precious gift that we have, and the experience in Anahata makes this clear.

I wish you to go to this retreat, the work that Michael and the team does is priceless, and the money you pay is nothing compared to what you get. I wish everyone to get to this place, I wish to hear and feel this energy and a feeling of gratitude and deep all-pervading love. If you have some problem that you think you can’t solve on your own, if you are at an impasse, lost or just want to find God – this is the place for you, I don’t know what could be better and stronger.

It’s not easy trying to fit this experience into words. My time at anahata transcended the paradigms of my reality. A true felt sense of belonging into a family that was ever embracing with kindness and openness from day one.

The center and this work are a path being carefully paved through intention and prayer of this amazing family in Peru, to help people who are seeking this medicine get through to the other side of the inhibitions, patterns and lack of faith that sometimes keep us from being transformed into our divine potential and learn to live fully in our embodiment.

The support , guidance and conversations shared throughout the retreat with the facilitators and community was medicine on its own. I could not have imagined a better, more intimate, loving container to do this work in.

I felt as if We are collectively weaving the thread of love, unity and creation through devotion. Thanks to places and people like these healing is being restored within and expansion is unfolding through these sacred spaces. Thank you for being a part of this incredible life journey and being an example of true love.

Very compassionate grounded space holding by Roberto and Mariana, they bring their Icaro , which must be experienced to even begin to understand it, they are so very loving and compassionate healers. For me this is very obviously the most effective way I have seen used with Mother Aya. Mi chael Love is an amazing facilitator who really helps to round out the work of the Shipibo medicine for a nice lovely confortable interface with Roberto and Mariana.

A beautiful experience, tough, and so necessary. I went through a deep process here that created the foundation for all the abundance and beauty that has since come into my life. I’m so grateful for a loving community that could hold space for me as I went into such deep work. The generosity, beauty, laughter, and tribe are a special magic that I’m so grateful for

I had an Amazing Ayahuasca experience at Anahata. The Shaman was awesome and Micheal was a great host, they also had a nice band. I can tell the quality of the Ayahuasca was perfect. This is a trip I plan to experience at least twice a year with the same organization. Thank you !

I just finished 10 beautiful days in the sacred valley of Peru at Anahata Ayauasca. It’s hard to truly sum up my experience in a few sentances it was the most challenging, yet beautiful and sacred experience I had ever encountered. The thing that called me to this place was the location, the group size (no more than 6) and the medicine that they offered. I listened to my Intuition and knew I needed to work with more than just the Aya, and I’m grateful I did.
I worked with Ayauasca, Kambo, San Pedro and Bufo, as well as a sweat lodge.
To some, that may seem like alot but it was perfect for what I needed. The experience that each medicine offered was essential in my growth and healing. They each complimented each other so well, as they focused on different areas of healing.
Each modality of healing was potent, and offered extremely profound experiences.
They were done in a wonderful setting full of love and support, which made it easy to ease into the experience.

The setting couldn’t be any more perfect. The center is in an old incan museum surrounded by beautiful mountains. It is beautiful beyond words. You wake up each morning with tea in hand, walk out to the patio, and look onward to the pisac ruins, as you lay in your Hammock and contemplate everything you’ve learned in your stay. A 5 minute hike takes you to a beautiful river surrounded by eucalyptus trees and flowers. It is truly breath-taking.

The Ayauasca ceremonies were done with beautiful music which was so essential in processing everything that was coming up.  Honestly, it was what made the difference for me when I was getting into my head, and kept me grounded and focused.. Each person that contributed their talents brought such a sense of beauty and heart to the experience. Thanks to Brian, Doodi, Gal, Michael, and Shahaf for sharing your talents with us.

After each ceremony we were able to talk about the things that came up. Often times we were still processing, but it was important to the experience with the group.

Michael and Sam were beautiful hosts. They made sure to make the experience special for us and helped us process everything that came up with love, light and laughter. Pacco, was an amazing steward who made beautiful meals full of love. His light is definitely appreciated at the center. Maestro Roberto has a beautiful light to him and helped us heal in ways I fight think possible.
I’m so grateful for my experience with Anahata and look forward to the day I can go back. Gracias! ♥
